Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaOld style, quite expensive. Church bells accross the street were ringing after 2am. Bathroom has a noisy fan. Beds are comfortable. You have a nice balcony.

PolandI arrived after 8pm, the bar was closed, no restaurant nearby. You need to drive to the next village to find anything.
The location was good, parking places available next to the hotel.

Czech RepublicWe booked the room at the last moment just to stay somewhere. It was the only offer in the region available under 100 Euro. On our arrival, the receptionist said that we had to move to another building as the hot water supply was broken. The room was OK, clean and newly equipped, but there was no heating and the room was quite cold (the temperature outside was near zero). There was also continuous beeping of a broken fire alarm at a room on the lower floor, the receptionist helpfully came to stop it but after some time it started again. Anyway, as we were tired, we slept well the whole night.

AustriaI would think that the carpets at the reception need a wash. They seem to be the source of a stale smell.
I believe all these low rated reviews are overly critical. The place is indeed a bit worn, but very clean and convenient. A house that was probably built in the 80ies, and, while well maintained, was not substantially renovated since. That being said it was a comfortable stay.

RomaniaI had no hair dryer in the room. The carpet was dirty and the air in the room had a strange smell probably because of old and dirty stuffs inside the room.

GermanyBreakfast has very limited option. Toileteries could have been kept without asking. WiFi signal should be made stronger so that it could be used within rooms.
Location of the hotel is the best part of it. Rooms were old styled, but very clean.

Czech RepublicThe most important - the hotel is located at relatively busy street/road, so it's impossible to sleep with open windows. Breakfast could be maybe more creative - e.g. I would love to taste some Austrian cake (kuchen). And the price for a bottle of beer (5 €) is a little bit steep.
If you are into vintage, do not hesitate to get there. The place has definitely a spirit of (good) old times. It's a nice family hotel, well preserved and clean, Showers are "super strong". You probably can't get more for this price, breakfast is included.

The hotel is a traditional old Austrian hotel. We had evening meal in the restaurant and the food was superb. Breakfast is a good continental one.

JapanI had a single room. There were numerous things wrong. There were two power outlets in the room, one did not work. The bathroom mirror light didn't work. The shower door fell off the track, and the window would not close properly. The hotel is a bit rundown and needs maintenance. In the evening, the water took a long time to get warm, and in the morning, it was just barely tolerable. In the main hotel, there was a leak in the roof and the elevator was not working. The clerk wasn't particularly friendly either.
The price was OK.

United KingdomIt was not what I was expecting, first I was put in a different room without Wi-Fi, they clean just the bathroom and nothing else. The manager is awlways smoking in the office area and I was told that breakfast was not included but I could have sworn that it was. I was put in an apartment I think they are trying to rent out with a kitchen without kettle, microwave or fridge.it was a nightmare for me and my friend.the service was very poor, I just went to waste my money. I couldn’t do any work, when I need to use the internet I have go and in the smoking infested area. I want to thank you guys for doing a great job investigating the hotel before sending us there. Thank you.
