Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Very good breakfast in a cute environment, cosy room, friendly staff, 24 hour reception. I also liked that one could have drinks during the day. It is a well-organised establishment, I felt cared for and relaxed :))

Every single item on the breakfast bufet was delicious, the hotel provided a gigantic variety of options. The rooms were clean a modern, quiet. The staff was helpful and always present.

Everything was as expected.
The hotel is in a good location and easy to find, it is walkable from the railway station.. The welcome was great, and checking in was easy. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.

There was no tea or coffee maker in the room. The bathroom was a little smaller than average but totally fine for 1 or 2 nights.
Amazing breakfast, a lot of options! Very delicious Quiet rooms and comfy beds.

Exceptional stay in the heart of Linz. Minutes to the central street, and about 10 min walk to the embankment. The street is quite with a lot of parking space, and breakfast was wonderful, much better than I could expect from a 3-star hotel.

A pleasant hotel, easily found in the centre of Linz. The hotel had parking on site and moving from the car park to reception and on to the rooms was particularly easy and I imagine would be the same for anyone with a disability. The staff were friendly and we were made welcome after a late arrival. The staff checking us out in the morning were also helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and quiet, with a good level of space and facilities. Didn't try the dining room but I would anticipate a good standard based on everything else that I saw.

The wi- fi didn’ t work well in room 210.
Location is central, everything is quite near- city centre, the main railway station - a ten- minute walk. The cathedral is a stone’ s throw from the hotel. The room is nice, beds are extra comfy. Breakfast is delicious- there ´s a variety of breads, fruits, veggies, cheeses etc. - there’ s also a fresh fruit squeezer. A variety of teas and coffees is available every day. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean.

The location was very good, nearby the Landstrasse (main street) and close to the public transport. The main square is just 10-15 minutes by foot. Very polite desk, impressive breakfast buffet, comfortable bed and large room.

The bathroom is a bit worn down.

There is no water cooker or cups in the room, but for a short stay it would be no problem.
The room is clean, the bed is comfortable and the breakfast is nice. The location is only 10 minutes away walking from main station and so close to the old city.

The hotel is placed near the center of Linz - just a walk to it. Clean, modern, big bathroom and in the morning a complete breakfast. The staff from the reception was very friendly and helped us with everything. Cleaning team from this Kolping Hotel is better than the one from Kolping Wien :)

Mattresses could be a bit harder, but this is just something about my back :)
Great location, right in the city centre. Staff nice and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. A very pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend it.

Well located just near the bottom end of the main shopping street and a short walk from the station. Breakfast buffet was great and the room was quiet and comfortable. Aircon worked well and was also quiet.Staff were friendly and helpful.
