Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It’s run by a greek owner and lots of staff are Greek. I find it a bit odd that you were greeted at any time in Greek given you are in Austria. But ok. Lights are missing when you enter the hotel from the backside after 8pm for the back door and when you go down to the ski cellar. That could be a bit dangerous when you walking down in ski boots. Breakfast can be improved. It’s all a bit cramped and could be arranged a bit nicer plus it’s standard breakfast. Nothing special.
Location wise it’s great. It’s directly at the Main street and close to all all restaurants, bars and lift stations of Saalbach. Bathroom was renovated. I liked the kettle in my room and the complimentary water. Staff at reception were always friendly and nice. Hotel has an elevator.

The wine was slightly on the expensive side. Beer price ok though.
Location, fantastic breakfast fantastic. They do a 20% discount at Snow Academy for rental. Fortis and the rest of the Hotel staff are always smiling and always very happy to help.

Can ski in when enough snow but not ski out. Be prepared for 5 to 15 min walk in ski boots to lifts. Or rent a locker at the lift.
Very friendly, family run hotel. Excellent staff. Good buffet food for breakfast and dinner was great value for money.

The room felt a bit dirty. Ash tray was full (we don’t smoke), there was some writing on the window (done with a finger) and also an empty water bottle from previous people. And the trash can was missing. Also the minifridge was not working. We tried putting it on the lowest setting but it was not cold at all.
Really friendly staff. There was breakfast included and also laundry service for 5€. The location was great.

Towels could have been changed, but we didn't ask. A couple more hooks in the room if we are being picky but I'd stay again without hesitation
The staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and big. Breakfast was great and dinner was served swiftly. Nice boot room with warm boot racks. They even arranged a taxi for us to zell am see.

We didn’t mind but if you are sensitive too noise, the big road is just outside and it is well trafficked and might disturb some people. Again, we didn’t mind but the interior is on the older side but it is very clean!
Perfectly located near center, gas station, supermarket and both gondolas! Very friendly and helpful staff! Especially Mikael in the reception. Big room with a big shared balcony. Breakfast is small but has the essentials (even for a vegan, bread, cucumber and tomatoes, some beans in tomato sauce)! A very nice sauna and sauna area! Very good price as well!

Parking is quite problematic - only few places for whole hotel. Also hotel requires some repairs, reconstruction (e.g. windows are outdated and it may be a problem in winter).
