Lighting over stair areas. Whats not to like? It was lovely.

The owner and family are wonderful, helpful, and kind. The location was a bit difficult to find at first, perhaps better instructions to find the hotel would be helpful. IE: "drive towards Werfen after coming under freeway bridge and take the turn right after the car repair agency on the right side. Sigm on the turn way is school bus pickup "in German of course. Breakfasts are typical Austrian fare with super choices and a fabulous coffee/cappucino machine/. Besides breakfast there is no other food served, but there is coffee and drinks available at an extra charge. No elevator so if stairs are an issue you need to be aware. Lovely views from terraces and beautiful grounds.

The pool unfortunately wasn't open when we were there even though it said it would be online. There also was no kids playset that we saw in photos. They did have a trampoline and one swing though. We did not hear the highway noise that other reviewers mentioned from our room (on the opposite side of the building), but when you move around to the highway side yard area you can definitely hear it. It didn't bother us though.

The owner was very nice. Breakfast was good. The drink fridge downstairs was nice to have to store a little food in as well as grab a beer if you wanted one. There was an inside playroom for younger kids and another hangout room with pool table, darts, and foosball (1 euro per game). Outside there was a trampoline and one swing for the kids plus an area with farm animals for the kids to look at. Also, an above ground pool if you are there in the summer.

Well, it was a bit disappointed, that sauna, promised by Booking.com, was not available every day. We could probably ask owner to let us in, but we were to shy. There is no restaurants in walking distance, which might make life a bit complicative. You clealy can hear highway. We expected something like this and were not badly surprised. But it you are looking for complete silence this place is not what you need.

Rooms are cosy, clean and super comfortable. Everything is very well organized. Bathroom is very modernly equipted. We had an exit to large terrase from our room, although this terrace is shared with neighboring rooms. Owner is very friendly, but his dog is even more friendly and warmed up our stay a lot. We felt very welcome. Station with beer, juices, water, tea and coffee, which microwave and plates was a bit pleasant surprise. We were very impressed by Igluhuts and it was a bit pity we did not see this option, when booked our stay. Hotel is situated only 15 min driving from Werfen with its beautiful castle and entrance to Eisriesenwelt. We also went to UNESCO town Halstatt. It took us 1 hour.

Mosquitoes in the room (be prepared), tiny bathroom, no shampoo, not very varied breakfast, very early check-out, no elevator.

The view from the hotel was fantastic. Plenty of free parking spaces if you travel by car. Multiple sights within easy reach by car.

The room has no own fridge, safe and hairdryer. (However there is a common fridge in the dining area).

The hotel located approximately 500m from the main road in the middle of a meadow surrounded by the Alps. The rooms are tidy, simply furnished. From the the joint balcony you can enjoy the gorgeous panoramic mountain view. Nice selection of food options from breakfast. Friendly staff. You are allowed to use the dining area 24/7 with very friendly “mini bar” prices.

The Hotel has NO ELEVATOR. When you are traveling internationally with 25 kg suitcases you have to carry them up and down by yourself. No help was offered. Better ask for a room on the ground floor. No breakfast option. Our bathroom was very small.

The Hotel is located in a beautiful and tranquil environment. The view to the surrounding mountains is breathtaking. Our room had a nice balcony. The Hotel is located close to the Highway to Salzburg and to some local touristic attractions.

If it is warm and you need to open the window at night (no A/C), it will get a bit noisy from the nearby highway. We didn't have an issue since we just ventilated the room before sleeping but it is there.

They had flexible late night check-in and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Solid breakfast and beautiful surroundings. And an adorable 🐶

Really liked that from your room you can see huge mountains in any direction, I think all rooms have balcony/terrace. Mornings and evening you can spent time just looking to scenery. Good location to stay if you want to do some hiking, there are plenty of tracks you can easy reach start point by your car. Very good place to stay with children, there are infrastructure for families like outdoor pool, green grass for outdoor games, separate playroom for kids in the house, mini zoo. 2 minutes with car there is a local modern food store and a bakery. Accessible cold drinks at fridge for your pleasure, some crockery if you need. Lots of places of interest nearby, like Hohenwerfen castle (with live falcon shows), ice caves (biggest in Europe), hiking trails around, Salzburg town and others.

Room was a bit small (and 1.90m bed might not be for everyone) but still had everything needed and we slept really well. Was expecting some local farmers products at the breakfast (local cheese, ham, sausages etc. or home made jams, honey) instead of the standard hotel fare... Still, the choice of food was good.

Idyllic location, multiple sights within easy reach (by car), a friendly and helpful host. Rooms seem to have a really good sound insulation, it was really quiet and peaceful there. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Very bad pillows. The room is good, but rather unrepaired, with no kettle or even a glass for water. Tea can be bought in the kitchen, price 2 eur. Hairdryer must be requested at reception. Breakfast is monotonous. Boiled egg 3x from 5.

Good location. Beautiful views from the window, balcony. Clean. Good coffee.
