Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaBusy roud outside but what can you do, it's Vienna.
It was nice that there were 3 single beds. It's also close to the HAKOAH Fitness center where we had a competition the next day. We parked in one of the side streets for free, less than 5 min walking distance.

IrelandThe hotel has a dated feel. Cleaning needs to be improved. There was dust on the headboard, pills behind the bed, stains on the carpet. Doesn't leave a cleanly feel.
Good size single rooms. Comfortable beds. Location probably more lively in the summer months along the river, but close to public transport so it is handy. Ok for a short stay.

TurkeyEven though my request was confirmed for my room to see the Alt Donau there was no available room to meet my request when I arrived. Then another room was reserved on my rquest two nights later so that I checked out in the early moorning and came back afternoon to check in again. But again, they said the reserved room is not available :( Then a lady tried to provide a proper room to make my stay comfortable.
Only reason I stay there is to be near by the Alt Donau.

ThailandFor this time, the internet connection was poor in my room. It would be great if the hotel could check and improve the free wifi quality throughout the property.
Location is good. Everything you need for your stay is in a walking distance.

Jordan- the breakfast buffet is still limited and no clear indications for menu (this is crucial for guests with special restrictions to some type of food such as halal food) - The breakfast staff can not speak English and they insist to answer using German. -The room doesn't contain small fridge nor electric water heater in case you wanted to make a up of coffee, tee...etc.
- cooperative and helpful staff at front desk with professional level of English language.

GermanyIt's good for the money paid; the only real minus was it was really hot in the room under the roof and the ventilation is suboptimal. Very friendly staff, ready to help and give a bit of advice, plus the hotel's location balances this exceptionally well.

NetherlandsI got an attic room in 4th floor, so only one roof window is available and the WiFi signal barely worked in my room. The location is quite far from city center.

PolandNo air conditioning in the rooms. Probably I had just a bit of bad luck, but in my room at hot summer days from time to time there was some bad smell apparently coming from the bathroom, not musty (the bathroom was really clean, with no traces of mould), but probably resulting an untight connection to the drainage / sewer system. The cleaning staff was somewhat careless - one day, after cleaning, they left my room door open (fortunately nothing has been stolen). The hotel guests are discouraged by the staff to pay by card for small purchases, like the bar, breakfast or items from the drink frigde - I don't quite understand the reason for this unconvenience. As I said, this is a basic-services-only hotel, which means there are no utilities to make your coffee/tea at your room, no laundry service (which is truly inconvenient for longer stays), you can hire an iron (a deposit required) but not an ironing board, etc.
This is a "no frills" hotel ofering basic hotel services at a reasonable price. It is located within 7-10 min. walk from a metro station, thus ca. 20-25 min. from the city center if you use the metro. Nice location, at one of the branches of Danube. A large shopping mall within a few minutes walk. The reception is staffed 24/7 and it is possible to purchase something to dring or a snack even at midnight. The reception staff is in general friendly and helpful. The room is cleaned every day, albeit the cleaning service is not excessively careful.

HungaryHuge traffic on the streets, even a bit noisy in my room on the 5th floor too (I have seen better noise-cancelling windows). Comfy, but narrow mattress (single room). A room with a view to the Danube was promised, but I got mine next to the street. More storage options for your clothes and stuff would be nice. There were very few tv channels.
Very friendly staff, great location (public transport, supermarket, McDonalds and the Danube nearby). Cozy room, friendly little outside-restaurant/bar in the courtyard. Also, there is a lovely little plage at the Danube, right next to the hotel

NetherlandsJust an okay room for an okay price! Don't expect too much for what you're paying, and your fine! They had an option to park the car for €15,- a day, but I found a cheaper option. You can park the car at the P+R Aderklaaer Straße for €3,60 a day and get the metro back to the hotel in 15 min!

AustriaI think the only thing that I found noticeably subpar was the WiFi. Unfortunately (at least in my room) it was so weak that it was barely usable at times.
Overall the room served it's purpose for short business trip. The pillows and blankets were very comfortable and even though it was summer and there was no AC, the fan did a good job keeping things cool. The location also offered easy parking options directly at the hotel and in the surrounding streets.
