One really minor issue: There are two bigger pools. Both rather for bathing not for swimming: One inside good temperature and not too crowded but only 18m long. The outdoor pool, though at least 25m long, is not made for lane swimming either and rather part of the spa. The food was not always convincing (but I have to admit that we are spoilt in this regard).

Excellent spa, kids allowed until 15.30 (and they loved it!). Just next to cross-country skiing slopes. Good play area for kids. Good gym for a hotel with all necessary cardio and weight machines (+ free weights). Some might consider the decoration a bit kitschy; our kids just loved it).

Eating in general was very nice, lots of choices during breakfast, noon had a nice buffet and diner war also nicely done. Always fresh ingredients. Staff was very friendly and helpful, location was great, close to the lake. Hotel offers a possibility to recharge the electric vehicle

It may sound picky but the pillows were really not on par with other good hotels. I had to fold them at least twice to have some neck support. Bed itself was clean and comfortable. Underground parking is terribly dusty - seems to be from a construction

Very disturbing breakfast organisation ... tables are not desserved and you have to find à table, put the dishes away by yourself ... Other very négative point : EVERY item has to be paid in the room bar... even the Coffee pods (1,90 € each), ie 6,60 € for a small bottle of water ...

Some aspects of the experience feel a bit exaggerated. The restaurant Via Mala is trying to mimic a typical Tyrolean village, but gets overly cheesy in doing so: Every 30ish minutes, a ‘thunderstorm’ hits the town, including loud audiovisual effects of cows mooing and lightning striking, to the point that you can’t maintain a regular conversation. Certainly an interesting idea, but feels a bit cringe in my opinion.

The entire hotel looks and feels a bit like a fairytale castle - there’s something to be explored in every corner. Great spa area, super accommodating staff, good breakfast selection, and a convenient location to explore Tannheimer Tal.

In our room the fridge in the minibar was not working, the drinks inside were at room temperature. It was not fixed although we complained to the staff. Not expected in a 4 star hotel. Although they try to serve well, the waiters during dinner were unfortunately not well prepared. They seem not educated to the menu presented and we were served with wrong orders. Also, it seems there is a language communication problem. Everything was then corrected but the experience at the dinner in general was not to the hype. Finally, we booked a full board accommodation but the drinks are not included during lunch, snacks and dinner time even non-alcoholic. So you have to pay extra even for normal tap water!

The most amazing thing about the hotel is the wellness area. Many pools, Saunas, whirlpools, massage… you spend some relaxing time. Also the location of the hotel near a lake and hiking roads makes it special for hiking lovers. The food is nice, especially the breakfast.

The hotel is huge and my wife had problem to get oriented. The rest is simply amazing.

The hotel grounds, service, the food.. Our room had such a beautiful view. We enjoyed every minute in the hotel. Our kid went from one pool to another, enjoying saunas and whirlpool.

Silence in the restaurant at dinner, with no entertainment or even any background music people were whispering to each other which created a terrible atmosphere quite frankly. Any kind of music played would really have improved what should’ve been an excellent dinner but we instead disappointing.

I loved the adult zone of the wellness offering. Live music in the lounge bar was really enjoyable too.

Fantastic sprawling grounds with many facilities like pools, saunas, treatment rooms, etc. Beautiful dining and breakfast facilities. Breakfast was the best ever. Staff were exceptionally friendly and professional.
