Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyBasic breakfast, pool closed, lights not working in the corridors. Plug not working in room. Very strange toilet set up & the door didn't close properly. Also sat in the SPAR car park for 20 minutes waiting for someone to call me back & tell me where the keypad was located! Very disappointed as we paid €225 for 1 night, which really wasn't good value for money.
Location was good.

BelgiumWe stayed in this hotel many times before . Breakfast and coffee was really not attractive this time. Oversalty eggs, burned spek and coffee beans, croissaans and jams from the package. For amount of money you pay, you expect quality breakfast.
Location, view on the slopes, saunas, warm room , easy and fast connection with managing company by messages.Clean!

FranceWe had a little hurdle upon our arrival. We were given room 52 but it took us 30 minutes to open the door due to a faulty keyhole. After a call, an email and some insistance, the staff relocated us to room 59 which we appreciated. Hope they'll fix their faulty lock though because we felt that was not the first time this issue happened. (If anyone sees this review and has the same issue, slightly pull the lock towards you while the key is inside and turn to open the door)
The breakfast buffet was really good. The location of the hotel is very good for any mountain sighting between Germany and Austria. Everything in the room was as advertised. The two nights we spent were quiet.

United KingdomThe lift door on the 3rd floor would not open so we had to walk down to the 2nd floor to get the lift. Going up was fine! Decor in the public areas was a little dark.
We used this place for an overnight stop on our way from Italy to Germany. The hotel is located in central Lermoos, close to shops, restaurants ski schools etc. Looks pretty shabby from the outside and is mainly suited to the younger ski market. Internally, whilst clean and tidy, the decor is not particularly attractive but is functional. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom facilities clean and modern. We managed to park outside but the Spar (extra parking available) was only a short distance away. Online check in is required but communication with the host was excellent.

NetherlandsThe time window of their sauna is very short, and because we spent most of the time outside exploring the landscape, we could not make use of it. The swimming pool was closed down, but they did offer an alternative by giving us a free access code for a swimming pool nearby.
The hotel room was clean, the included breakfast had great variety, and the view on the balcony was amazing, flexible check-in (Make sure you check-in online in advance, otherwise you'll have to wait atleast half an hour before getting the code to aquire your keys), amazing ambiance, and I love making use of their gym.

GermanyInitially there was no key in the self check in box, but after a quick phone call to keyone, a member of staff immediately appeared and gave us our key. For me the bed was a little too soft, but that’s a personal choice. The outside pool is not in operation and should maybe listed as so.
After reading bad reviews for this property we were very sceptical, but to our delight, our room 57, was clean and comfortable with a great view of the mountains. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and good.

HungaryThe online check-in works well, but asks uncomfortably lot of personal data and the confirmation email has some inaccuracies around the key pickup.
Behind a battered facade hides a lovely hotel. Despite it cost significantly less than anything else we could find in the imminent area, the hotel itself had everything we needed for this ski excursion. Abundant breakfast with daily offers, comfortable rooms, some with an unobstructed view of the Zugspitze, proper parking solution (even if one had to walk 1 minute) and ran by an attentive staff. There is even a small pool and sauna area, which we were not expecting on this price level. I did enjoy the outdated interior and furniture of the common areas, it has added a twist of time travel to the 90s feeling to the stay.

NetherlandsWe had two rooms. The one with view on Zugspitze is nice, but room 6 with view on backside of hotel was poor. Some selfmade toilet, wooden cabin. How you can keep that clean? Maybe you might upgrade the room by placing new sanitairy block.
Breakfast fine. Sauna and swimmingpool were nice.

United Kingdom1)Not a good first impression as we were met by a really awful smell in reception when we arrived (drain issue?) But to be fair this was very very quickly sorted out within 15mins (impressive as we didn't see by who or how and there was no one there to report it to) and it smelled absolutely fine after that. 2) Only a minor thing but our room when first entered needed to be aired (bit stale) but not too bad and was fine once the windows were opened to let some air in. 3) The trust bar was just a fridge that was very minimally stocked with a limited range of soft drinks only. Lovely bar with plenty of glasses but you could not get to use them and there was no self serve beer or wine available. Could be a great facility if staffed or if not then with better self serve options. 4) Rooms are very good size but be prepared they are "sport" style / "minimalist" format and have open hanging space, no drawers etc. But they have all the amenities you need including hairdryer, toiletries, safe, long mirror, heated towel rails etc etc. 5) We had been regularly to this hotel over many years when it provided cosy family run hospitality and also offered the option of a restaurant for evening meals and they had afternoon apre-ski snacks that welcomed you back from a day on the slopes in the lounge, and it was staffed all day with excellent service into the evening, and a lovely bar for relaxation. Since it has been sold and converted into a Smarthotel there is inveitably less soul about the place and it is not as comfortable, but it is still good value and offers the functionality and some great facilities for an active stay. The staff who cleaned and attended at breakfast time were always cheerful and helpful. Would be nice to have them there to serve at the bar etc. in the evening. 6) The place is looking a little worn down and in need of some redecoration/maintenance generally on the walls and floors in the pool, corridors, and outside e.g.
1) Great wellness area - with two saunas, two steam rooms (one not working) a double infrared cabin, quiet chill down area with recliner seats, 2nd quiet area with beds, ice machine (not working), showers and nice tea selection. Towels were available for the sauna and the pool (thankfully this was better than I had expected after getting a different answer from Keyone to this question I sent them beforehand). 2) Very friendly and helpful staff. 3) Good location - in good snow it is possible to ski back to the boot room. Otherwise it's just a 5 min walk to the gondola. 4) Nice games room in the basement with two pool tables, table tennis, table football, pinball machine, driving game, darts machine and playing cards. 5) Nice seated lounge area on ground floor by the bar (not stocked or staffed though) but could be made a bit more comfortable with lighting etc. 6) Good hot and cold breakfast buffet. 7) Big double bedroom family room with two shower/basin areas and loads of hanging space. Great view from a good size balcony with table and chairs. 8) A small indoor pool, and a larger outdoor pool (which unfortunately wasn't open in the winter when we stayed). The indoor pool was in fact open in the morning (again this was different, positively, from the answer I got sent by Keyone when enquiring beforehand) so it was lovely to be able to have a quick pre-breakfast dip to wake up and stretch the muscles before a day of skiing. 9) Generally a great range of facilities and well-appointed accommodation.

GermanyRoom was very bare, for example there were no bedside tables and only one chair. Only 1 electrical socket next to the bed. The two issues above were compounded by the absence of hotel staff on the premises, which meant that we did not contact them (to rectify these issues) during our stay. The room's wooden ensuite "island" wasn't very private. The pool was cold.

United StatesThe beds and pillows were not good. The pillows were very flat, and the beds were on the harder side. No A/C at all, so we had to have the windows open to cool the room a little. This place was cute and quaint, but honestly a little creepy feeling with the low lighting everywhere.
The breakfast was amazing and their lounge space was nice for just hanging out. Great location.
