Nothing really to mention. Minor thing to improve, if any : there is no coffee in the room, only tea. But with 3 supermarkets less than 50m away this is really not an issue. Enjoy!

Great location even if some distance from the innercity. You can walk to the shopping area within 15 min and to Hofburg within 20. Hotel restaurant looks great and trendy (we did not attend) and lots of amazing cafes and restaurants are available around. We got upgraded to Large Room and the room was really perfekt : amazing bed, large shower, backyard view, very calm and all the way clean. Fitting was fun with phono (working!) and mini basketball net. Reception staff was very kind and helpful.

If I had to be picky there didn’t appear to be any international tv channels available.

Excellent bar and restaurant. Non hotel guests book for dinner here as it’s more a high level restaurant that happens to be in a hotel rather than a hotel restaurant. All the staff from check in to bar staff were great.

The air con was noisy (not too much of an issue) but not very effective. Also, we managed to break a glass in the room and reported it in the morning. When we returned in the evening the room had been cleaned but the broken glass left on the floor which seemed deliberate. It was rectified quickly then but a little disappointing that we had to ask again.

It’s a very cool hotel, I love the decor and little touches such as the Photo Booth in the lobby and record player in the room. Comfortable beds, quiet and clean rooms and friendly staff.

Stayed for 2 nights in August. Decor is bohemian and cosy. Bed comfortable. Bathroom a bit small. Breakfast looked amazing.

We asked for adjoining rooms for our family a month in advance but these weren’t arranged by the time of our arrival. We spent half an hour at check-in finding a workaround. A bad start. This website claimed the rooms would have a ‘view’, which they did, if we can agree that a view of a wall is a view worth boasting about (see pic). Housekeeping only visited once in our three days at the property. Kettle and teabags in the room, but no coffee-making facility or fridge.

Max Brown Vienna has one of those alternative vibes that felt kinda hip 10 years ago but that’s tiring now. Those mid-century junk shop finds and in-room record players, eh? The fabric is ageing, too. Our bathroom had a cracked sink sitting on a warped black plinth and the shower head wouldn’t stop flopping. But the location is solid (few stops on the tram from all the good stuff), the staff were cheery and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent (if pricey). And check the parking conditions - parking is available, but as of Aug ‘24, it’s €26 a day. Not bad by city standards, but we’d assumed (bother) it was included. Overall, a good experience, but with room for improvement.

It was really missing a fridge where I can store some fruits and water. Small things - Shower is modern and has no door to close so you need to be careful not to make a puddle Bed position was a bit odd in the room

I really liked the design of the hotel and the room. It was something you don't encounter often and the vibe is cool. It has cool features like photo booth in the lobby and they have a small cinema and they did a screening was The Eras Tour after the shows were cancelled which was very nice of them. We had a loft room so it was airy and spacious , there was enough storage and no small annoying shelves in the bathroom. The bed and windows were big. The reception was always super helpful and nice ! we used their help many times Location is not bad ,seemed safe and usually 30 minutes to most central places. You need to walk about 10-15 minutes to get to the bus/metro stops we used. It also had restaurants and grocery stores near it.

Ants crawling on some services especially close to jam area. The bed sheet was clean, but unfortunately not the bed mattress- it was covered with some blood marks.

loud air conditioning and the bathroom furniture had warped cause the MDF had been exposed to water. There was dust on the head boards.

The staff were super friendly and helpful and their gins from the bar were impeccable. It was easy to access the property and there was no issues with check in or out. Good area.

As others have said record player didn’t work and kettle needed to be moved to bedside as lead was so short. Why do hotel rooms not have central lighting any longer ? None of those would stop us from visiting again just slightly annoying.

We loved the quirkiness of this property and the fantastic location with nice restaurants and shops. Very easy access to bus and tram network. We were upgraded to a larger room which was nice.

The lift was broken when I arrived so it was hard work to get to the room with my luggage.

The staff was excellent and very supportive and the rooms were done very well, and the room had a record players with few vinyl records which was quite a surprise.

I’ve stayed at the hotel before and was so happy back then that I wanted to come back. Unfortunately, this time the stay wasn’t so perfect. I booked a better room this time but it wasn’t as comfortable and stylish as last time, the record player was broken, there was no soap in the shower (but we had soap next to the sink), just little things but all in all I am not sure I would come back

The breakfast is great, especially the possibility that you can make juice from fresh fruit

I wish there was coffee in the rooms or at the front and a gym ( but really these aren’t bad things just ideal wants). The shower like many other hotels with this same shower does not keep the water in the shower. We had a few minor problems which the hotel aimed to resolve immediately

The rooms are stylish, the price is pretty good, and you can choose your room size. We did not have the breakfast but did purchase coffee in the mornings and it was good. The front desk staff is super nice and knowledgeable about Vienna for any tourist needs. Isabella went above and beyond to make sure our stay was lovely.

We stayed 5 days, not once we had our room cleaned. Not even change of towels, toilet paper and renewed soap container. Only after we complained at the front desk in the evening when we got back from a day of travelling, housekeeping cleaned the room the day after. Other than that overall it was a wonder stay. Good breakfast!
