We stayed at the hotel for 5 days, I would appreciate a more personal treatment as a guest by the hotel staff. In addition, I would like to have more variety at breakfast, meaning not every morning the same choice, some sort of change every other day. The hotel is not very close to an underground station, so many times we chose to take a taxi when returning to the hotel after a long day of walking through the city. One last thing, the hotel room doors close with a lot of noise, we were lucky that it didn't happen when we slept.

The hotel is beautiful, modern design, spacious and clean. The staff is friendly, the vibe is very international. The location is in a great neighborhood, close to a major shopping area. We took a very large room, which was perfect, plus very quiet at night. We didn't mind that the room was cleaned only every second day, which we were also informed by the receptionist in advance. The restaurant in the hotel is very good, with great vibes and delicious food. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at the Max Brown very much.

Very dim lighting in the room - no option for full light when you wanted it. Had to put the kettle on the floor as the lead wasn’t long enough .

Very cosy hotel, beautiful entrance, the restaurant and the room clean and comfortable. They are cleaning the room every day. The hotel is near the bus station the metro and not far from the centre of the town. Our opinion is very positive about this hotel .

Minor quibbles: - Alternate day room servicing: we have no problem with this (and I guess it halves your room cleaning costs!) but it is uncool for this not be mentioned before arrival and not to be given any choice on this. - No fridge in rooms. - Hotel’s electric bike had puncture so not usable. None of these minor points took away from an enjoyable stay.

Great boutique-style hotel with cool rooms. We would definitely recommend and stay here again. Particular thanks to Sonia at reception for her friendly and helpful advice.

It was a bit odd that hotel guests couldn't get a drink at the bar because the restaurant operates separately. Also the rooms were all slightly style over substance. For example, the kettle cord didn't reach a plug unless it was put on the floor; the shower gel was so high that if you are bathing in the bath you have to stand up and reach up high to get shower gel; the shower cord was leaking badly so pressure wasn't great and water sprayed the ceiling and directly into our faces; and one of the lamps was hanging off the wall broken. So just a few little things that could have been better thought through or fixed for that final attention to detail.

Absolutely loved the location of this hotel. The decor was very funky and the rooms were quiet and comfortable.

WiFi did not work at all, not even the second one that the staff recommended - I have never seen anything like that in Europe yet. We had to change the room right away as the door to the bathroom was not working.

Nice location in the local neighborhood- walking distance to cafes, museums, etc Room is clean, spacious enough for two ppl. The bed was comfy. Nice toiletries. The design was funky. Private parking is a huge plus! The staff was friendly and helpful.

I wish there was a coffee machine in the bedroom. They left only tea bags to make tea.

Comfortable bed Lovely buffet in the morning. But you did have to pay a lot more for this.

Showers were very poor quality. Water power didn't get passed rhe wall it was mounted on. The curtain didn't go across the window in the bathroom so people could see us showering and changing.

The original room I booked was located in a separate building behind the main building. It felt very cut off and quiet and I didn't feel comfortable staying there. I asked to move rooms and paid a supplement to upgrade. I would like to have known about the separate building on booking.

The room was lovely, bed exceptionally comfortable and breakfast was healthy and generous. The staff were helpful.
