Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BulgariaI really liked the house and the architecture of the building. It was lovely staying in such a cute vintage but well renovated resort. I also liked the staff, the man was very friendly and helpful. I personally think it is a very good value for money and you should definitely consider it if you are in the area.

United KingdomCheck in not until 5 so we were all sat waiting outside, 15 minute walk back to nearest eatery. Laminate flooring didn’t fit so a hazard to walk on
Cheapest option on the Kaiserkrone walk. Slept well. Kindly left us a roll and boiled egg as we wanted to set off early the next morning.

Czech RepublicThe guesthouse does not provide meals during the day, only breakfast - but we got several recommendations from the staff where to go for dinner. The building is old and so is the equipment (wardrobe, table, chairs...). Especially the beds could use an update. For some guests it might create an authentic / romantic atmosphere, while others might perceive it as uncomfortable.
The guesthouse is situated in a beautiful mountain location and offers amazing views. There is a small parking place in front of the building. Staff is friendly, communicates well even through the Booking.com messaging system and is able to speak English. Even in a cold rainy night, we were warm in the bedroom - the duvets were probably down. Breakfast is basic, but satisfactory: coffee, tea, bread, butter, honey, egg, fruit, oat meal. Guests from the neighbouring room asked specifically for ham and they got it, too.

IsraelIt was raining when we stayed there and it was a bit cold in the room + the check-in only from 17 so we had to wait outside in the rain. But still, great value for money.
The host is amazing and helped us very much. The breakfast was good and the view very nice. Hot water and the shower were great.

NetherlandsThe room could use a make over.
Mountain Blast is an original old farmhouse with stunning mountain views. The building could actually use a good renovation, but that would cost a lot of money. The beautiful surroundings would be worth such an investment. The young owner is very enthusiastic and does his very best to make you feel at home. Through the windows of the room you have a view of the beautiful surroundings. The decor of the room is sober and could use a makeover. The breakfast was good with bread rolls, butter, marmalade, honey, fruit and fresh coffee. The owner regularly replenished everything. Mountain Blast was a good choice for an overnight stay. For that money you should not expect a 5 star hotel.

Czech RepublicJust breakfast... I see in the latest review that the landlord Daniele answered another guest that the breakfast was described in details at Booking.com...Well, I can't see any explanation what the breakfast consists of..., but just claiming that it's buffet breakfast. In my opinion, typical Italian sweet breakfast like this one here (jams, butter, honey, nutella, fruit) can't be buffet breakfast without included salami and cheese (several types) or even eggs. I paid 1 € extra for scrambled eggs (probably 2 pieces), but neither number of eggs nor quantity of slices of salami or cheese was given whatsoever... It was given "take it, or leave it", so this was not a problem for us, however, I think that the guests should be informed about it before making reservation..
We were attracted by unbeatable low room price. Surprisingly, everything worked what was offered. And even the parquet floor in our rustic room didn't squeak so we had no fear to wake each other when going to toilet at night. :) Also our doublebed was wide enough and with two duvets (btw, among the most comfortable ones we have ever had!) and pillows, not just one bigger duvet/pillow like in many other places to stay.

AustraliaThe description is "breakfast included" but we were told that it contains only bread rolls, coffee/tea, fruits and jams and if we wanted cheese, ham and egg it was going to be 1€ extra. Funny attitude and somehow we didn't see any guests opting for the extra goodies.
It really is "lost in the mountains" although we had no view from the window, just from outside of the property.

United KingdomIt can be refurbished a little bit but it doesnt bother your stay there. We were just there to sleep as we were roaming around in day time.
The Host Daniele and his wife were fantastic. They were always there for everything. They both are very friendly. The property is in a very nice location surrounded by monutains, hence justifies the name. The property has character since its more than 250 years old.

ThailandShower regulator was somewhat damaged (but we could deal with that), no shampoo / soap provided (should be at this price IMO), it can get quite noisy when many guests are present (little noise isolation and creaky floors). All of these were no serious downturns for us, though.
A great place with nice views and alpine pasture feeling as 'advertised', great for everyone who likes to escape from civilization for a while. The owner is very nice and does his best to make everyone feel comfortable. Nice and friendly dog in the house! Rooms and the guesthouse as a whole are ... I'd say: 'rustikal' (rustic), would really need some upgrades and improvements, but then, it has a certain 'original' feel to it and is quite cozy, so an okay deal for this price and I wouldn't want to complain.
