Perfect location: you are just in the city center, however the street where the hotel is situated is very quiet. Breakfast is verygood, everything you need for convenient start of the day. Plus die Pawlatsche in the court side of the building are just so Central Europe <3. It is a great place to stay.

The hotel is in the centre and the reception area is welcoming with free hot drinks. The receptionist was very helpful upon arrival but the hotel layout after reception seemed a little puzzling. Our room was very clean, the shower was hot and the breakfast was amazing.

This time I had stayed, my daughters bag went missing within 15 minutes of checking out. After no resolution with staff we headed home on our flight to Sydney . We did receive her bag some 3 weeks later- it appeared in a rubbish bin- hmmm. I would like to think I would continue staying at this property for my future visits- but I am unsure if the cleaners can be trusted Otherwise- no complaints e soy they did not empty the rubbish and change glasses in the room daily.

I have stayed twice before at this property and always found the staff great and the location is superb. Breakfast was and is still very good here. The breakfast room staff are very welcoming. The 2 gentleman at front desk are absolutely the best staff and the hotel should be very proud having them on their team. I would stay again for their wonderful service, kind nature and their attention to detail with everything

A bit of modernisation (e.g. of the bathroom) would make the place more competitive with the high-tech competitors. Everything was OK, but nothing a "wow" feeling.

The "Palais" is an old four or five story house of tenants. Apartments are converted. They make an effort to make it look classy, (old carvings, on the wall, "chrystal chandeliers") which is certainly attractive for a standard US tourist who does not care whether something is genuine or a simplified remake. Never mind! The people were very friendly, the breakfast varied and rich, when we asked for a later check-out due to health issues, it was granted free of charge. The location is insuperable, right in the center of the old town, 3 minutes from Stephansdom. Musikverein is 12 minutes walking.

This time the wi-fi in the room was a bit of a tantrum.

I returned to Pertschy for the second time in a few months, and this already says that I had a good time. I confirm that impression. If you are not interested in unnecessary luxury, but are looking for a hotel in the city centre, in an incredible location, just a few minutes' walk from everything, in a historic building, with a flavour and personality, and with excellent value for money (especially compared to the standards of central Vienna), the Pertschy is for you. You won't find refined 5-star services, but the simple things that are most important: a friendly and helpful staff, an excellent breakfast (very well organised in a small space), rooms with their own identity, simple but spacious and functional, and the courtesy of free hot drinks (coffee, tea, chocolate, cappuccino, etc.) when you return to your hotel from the cold streets of Vienna. I hope to return to Vienna, and I have no doubt that I will return to the Pertschy.

- The hotel is definitely not 4*, but good 3*. But taking into account all positive points above, it was worth its money and I would stay here again next time. It is a hotel purely for personal tourism, when you only sleep in your room.

- Super central location, very convenient to reach by foot all key sights! - Very rich and nice breakfast. - Room is small and amenities are old, but very clean.

An expensive hotel but worth the money for what you get.

The perfect location for anyone attending a ball at the Hofburg Palace. Friendly desk staff even offered to look after our room key in case we lost it at the ball!! Excellent breakfast buffet. Free tea & coffee & hot chocolate machine in the lobby was a nice touch, especially for the cold weather.

The beds were a bit stiff (unlike the pillows which were soft). The carpets need replacing.

The location was perfect! It is situated near Graben street (next to the tube station in Stephansplatz) and very close to all the major places to see/explore and eat so there is no need for transportation. The rooms (triple and double) were spacious and cozy and keeping with the palace-like decor. Excellent WiFi and very quiet rooms. Good breakfast with plenty of cakes, ham & cheese platters, fruits and fruit salad. Kind and very helpful staff.

the bathroom was nearly impossibly small. there was no chance to share the space even for brushing your teeth, and there was virtually no place to rest your toiletries. Also the window coverings, when closed, took away 10% of the room. the hotel should think of other window coverings so the sitting area is not eliminated when they are closed
