You should know that there's no air- condition in the room! We travelled on April and it was OK with some open window at night or during the day, but I suppose, in summer it may not be so comfortable. (i was said they offer fans, but for me it's not comparable to AC). And the floor and the bed are a little creaky , this maybe due to their age (but the mattress itself is very comfortable).

The location is just fantastic!! Three minutes walking take you either to famous pedestrian Graben street and St. Stephan's Dome or, contrarily, to the Hofburg Palace complex. And despite suxh central location, the street noise is almost non insensible (unless you open your windows), excepting the Pummerin of the Dome.. The building itself is very beatiful from outside and it also oofers some interior decor reminding of its glory days from the 18th century. The breakfast exceeded my expectations! Even the dining room is not so big, there's a plenty of space for everyone and the food choice is very diverse and satisfying!!! The room is big and spacious, just as depicted at the pictures . The shower bath , however, is a little narrow, so overweighted people might feel some discomfort (not me).

Proximity to St Stephanzplatz. Wonderfully understated comfort and service, and impeccably clean. Included breakfast was absolutely gorgeous 😍. Cannot recommend this 'Oasis' hotel highly enough. Our stay here (3 days) was highly 👌 satisfactory! Great location for city centre exploring!

I had a wonderful stay at Pertschy Palais Hotel during my visit to Vienna. The location was perfect—just steps away from major attractions, public transport, and fantastic restaurants. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. A special thanks to the manager, who was incredibly kind and polite upon our arrival, and made us feel truly looked after. My room was spotless, well-appointed, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the complimentary coffee and the helpful local tips. Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options to start the day. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend Pertschy Palais Hotel to anyone visiting Vienna!

Our stay at this hotel was an absolute disaster. From the moment we arrived, we faced one issue after another. On our first night, I couldn’t even take a bath because something was stuck inside the bathtub. At midnight, the hotel moved us to another room on the second floor, which turned out to be a construction site—tools, paint fumes, and debris everywhere! The receptionist even apologized, admitting there were no other available rooms. We tried to stay despite being exhausted, but the horror movie-like corridors made it impossible. Out of fear and frustration, we returned to our original room, where we still couldn’t use the shower. To make things worse, despite requesting a double bed, we were given two single beds pushed together—completely different from what was promised. The next day, we were moved yet again. While this room at least had a working shower, it still had two single mattresses instead of a real double bed, making it incredibly uncomfortable. The mattresses were terrible, the pillows even worse, and the curtains didn’t block the light, making it impossible to sleep properly. When we raised our concerns, the receptionist shockingly dismissed the entire situation, saying that after the clear disaster of the first night, they had “given us an option” to move to the construction-site room—as if that was an acceptable alternative! They even tried to justify the situation, saying that things like this can happen and that at the end of the day, we had what we needed to sleep—a bed! This level of service and disregard for guests’ well-being is completely unacceptable. Beyond these major issues, the entire hotel and the rooms are not well preserved. While it’s nice that they try to keep the old Vienna character, it doesn’t change the fact that the equipment and overall condition are not well maintained. There is no air conditioning, which is simply unacceptable in a hotel.

The bed linen was clean and the bed was turned down every day but the carpet in the room looked like it could do with a wash(especially around the edges)

The location is amazing! Beds were too hard for us but were not uncomfortable. The breakfast is good value and I would recommend this option for someone staying at the hotel. The staff in the dining area are lovely. And the reception staff were professional. The feel of the hotel is relaxed, old-fashioned but very charming.
