This place is not a four star hotel as advertised, the rooms are not worth staying in , wallpaper coming off, smells of cigarettes, people smoking in corridors , and smoking drugs . On third floor the corridor is like hanging on by suspended floor , very narrow and feeling unsafe . When we saw our room , we told the receptionist that that’s is not except able and all he said was if you don’t like it complain to booking .com !! , we left left the hotel immediately and did not stay . I would not recommend this place to any one !

Small rooms ,furniture is old, curtains not clean and old, breakfast tables need to be change(small and old)overall The hotel building is dilapidated with furniture also, and body walk in the aisle you can count his steps.

An old hotel that hasn't been renovated for a long time. Besides its location, I can't recommend anything about it. Bad WiFi signal. Isn't worth the price asked.

Some people might find the mattresses too thin, but they were very comfortable for us.

Situated only 100 meters from the Gräben, shopping, entertainment and dining opportunities in the Inner Stadt are easily accessible. The well-appointed breakfast room offers high-quality selections of breads, cereals, meats, cheeses and beverages. The rooms are typical for a former 17th century palace: generously sized with ornamented high ceilings. The Euro-style beds with duvets are comfortable and extra pillows and blankets are in the armoire. Bathtub, shower, bidet and double sinks were in a separate room from the 1/2 bath toilet and sink in our suite. There is also a sitting area with table and chairs.

I have to take into account the room rate. Based on it was reasonable for the area I find it hard to complain. I feel It is important to balance cost with facilities etc. guests should expect cheery friendly staff. However, the hotel is a converted block of flats that looks like they did it on a shoestring budget. If you want to have more money to spend in Vienna while living in the best location this is the place to stay. Tourists on a budget should be satisfied here. On the other hand if you want something more comfortable you will need to fork out a lot more money on your hotel and less to spend shopping etc.

The location is the best. Breakfast was very good. The room rate was good. The staff were attentive, responsive and helpful. At breakfast the staff were industries and worked hard.

We enjoyed our stay, all was really nice.

Definitely one of the main benefits of this hotel was how close it is to the centee and Hofburg. We booked it on last minute. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and had little sweet treat on the pillow. Little on the old designed however it given the charm to Vienna. Breakfast was lovely and filled us up for the next travel around the town.

The toilet seat was still stained with either blood or fecal matter from the previous guest. Disgusting! The room was clearly not cleaned properly making it a very disappointing stay overall. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

The bathroom was pretty poor - you have to step into a cabinet within the room. The shower stream didn't work well, and I couldn't adjust the shower head. No body lotion provided - you expect that, and better bathrooms in a 4 start hotel. There's no bar in the foyer (although there are coffee/tea facilities there). The hotel rooms need refurbishing, and air conditioning needs to be put in. So much more could and should be made of this.

The hotel is ideally situated for places on or within the Ring. It's in a quiet street and is basically a former 'palais' with a courtyard. Te ceilings are high, which helps in hot weather. The fan worked well. The breakfast was OK, but not more than that. The bed was more comfortable than it looked.
