Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The man at the reception (a turkish man) was very unfriendly. The hotel did not even have slippers!!! I would choose another hotel next time.
I liked the buffet and very warm rooms, this is a plus! The location is good.

Beds not comfortable. Only 1 curtain, other once was half a curtain. Couldn't draw the curtains close at night. Very dusty. Bread at breakfast was never fresh.

The location is great. In the heart of the city center, two blocks away from Schwedenplatz and 5 min walk from the train to the airport. The breakfast was excellent and the room was spacious and clean.

The cleanliness of the bed sheets and generally of the room should be improved.

- Cons - What I didn't like.... AT ALL! - There's no water to drink in the evening, except sparkling water! We got thirsty in the evening (as humans) we went down to ask the reception for water, even to pay for it, as they don't provide, the guy there told us carelessly: there's no water in the hotel, I told him how come! we're thirsty, and it's xmas eve, all shops around are closed! He said; only sparkling water u can buy, he didn't even try to help, we didn't like that AT ALL, was a bit shocking. A part from being your customer, we're talking about water here, we would help strangers in the street when it comes to water need. P.S. it wasn't Baher, it was the other gentleman. - No kettle in the room, you have to go down every time you need hot water for the tea, and ask them to give you. - No minibar in the room, and they don't provide slippers. - Staff attitude: Not rude, but also very cold
Well, to be fair, there are pros & cons... - Pros: The location is super, breakfast is not bad at all, wifi is good & it's a clean hotel.

For me, there was nothing to dislike about the property.

2 nights stayed without heater, I got sick after our stayed. It made my trip tougher especially when travelling with sickness. On the 2nd night I did told the receptionist that our room's heater was not functioning he said he will come n help but never showed up. We called up from room, he told us to close the windows tightly, whereas we not even touch on the windows or curtains for the 2 nights stays.
Thanks to the receptionist during our checked in with the city tour info

Maybe some more water pressure on the shower just for saying something, everything was good enough.
Really good value for money, nice room, big and clean. Helpful staff, very good location. Amazing breakfast, best place stayed on value-quality ratio.

I had my passport stolen, 99% sure from the safe in the room. Staff weren’t very helpful in advising me what to do.

We had to endure the heat without being able to turn it off as it is centrally controlled. Not even a small kettle in the room for some tea while watching tv.
Location is good, breakfast was nothing special but the room could have been better.

The hotel offers a free storage room, but it is not protected. Anyone can walk in there and take your stuff. We didn't have anything valuable in our luggage so it wasn't too bad.
Breakfast was great! Staff was generally helpful and polite. Location is great, near Stefanplatz. The room was ok.
