Our heater didn’t work properly so our room was stinking hot half the time. We also got one thin pillow each but staff were great when I asked for a second pillow. Shower turned very very hot without warning on every occasion.

The "sweet corner" of the breakfast could be improved

Good location, very close to the Votivkirche and the Wiener Rathaus, a few step far from a major public transport hub. Fascinating building, spacious and comfortable room, nice bathroom. Good breakfast.

Breakfast options could be improved. Walls are a bit thin and noises from other rooms or people walking in the corridor could be heard. Based on the photo, I was expecting a bathtub in the room.

The hotel is centrally located to all key attractions, and all within walking distance. There are also many restaurants around. It was right next to the christmas market near the town hall. All staff are wonderful and have been very helpful.

There was a lot of mold in the shower because of the lack of ventilation. Very unpleasant. Also the pillows were very unconfortable and the double bed was in fact two single beds that were always migrating.

The hotel position, close to the main objectivs, the city center and metro station, great view of the Votive Church. The room was clean, but the shower awful because of the mold.

My only criticism, which I'm sure would have been fixed if I'd have asked the staff, was that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in my room.

We were 1st put in too room 220 which was terrible. I requested a change of room at the front desk and the staff were happy to help. We were moved to room 418 which was much better.

A bit of a walk to the center of town, but a lovely walk (15 minutes). Ubers and taxis are easily accessible. Took an Uber to and from the theater in the center.

Elegant hotel with history next to the famous Votiv Church. Room was simple, but large bathroom with high ceilings. Staff were wonderful and the breakfast buffet was a best way to start a busy day. Easy walk to to the metro.

The breakfast buffet is a hard pass. We ate there one morning and the food was mediocre and very expensive. Cheaper alternative is to go to the large and very well stocked Interspar grocery store 3 minutes' walk down Shottengasse and grab some yogurt, fruit, bread -whatever you eat for breakfast - and eat that. There is a small refrigerator in the room. That will be MUCH cheaper and probably better quality than the buffet.

Hotel Regina I've stayed here over the years and this is my favorite hotel in Vienna. It is very well situated at the edge of the Central Area next to the Votive Church. A 2 minute walk to the tram and subway station, and 10 minutes into the heart of the old town. The hotel has a long history and built in an age where, if you had the money to travel, you didn't carry your own luggage. The rooms are on the small side but comfortable enough. It has an "easy chair" and a small table but no desk. Our room had a wonderful view of the Votive Church. The bathroom is very well modernized and designed. Plenty of "put space" (i.e., counter top and under-the-counter space for all your personal items. (Typical European high-voltage/low-wattage hair dryer - ladies with thick hair will find it takes a long time to dry your hair.) It has an exceptionally large room safe and plenty of hangars and drawers. The beds were two large double-beds pushed together to provide a very large King. Great coffee! Julius Meinl espresso machine. My only complaint about that is that the staff could not remember to refill the coffee each day - despite a note in German asking them to please refill the coffee - and never noticed that the decaf cups were pushed to the side and note used; the replaced them with more decaf anyway. We ended up buying our own coffee! Room lighting was good. The hotel staff - inattentive room attendants not withstanding - were very helpful and friendly. They were able to pull up info from my last stay which was a few years previous (unlike a lot of places that discard info after 12 months or so) which helped speed up check-in. I'll certainly stay here again on my next trip to Vienna.
