We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

BulgariaThe location is great. It is close to the historical centre and the busiest street in Vienna, with all the shops and restaurants. The metro station is pretty close as well and gives the opportunity to travel to remote places like the Schönbrunn Palace and Belvedere Palace. If you decide to take and Uber, the most of the places can be reached for between 10 and 20 euros. The Prater is 15-20 min walk or 10-15 with the metro. The hotel is very clean. The self check-in and check-out are really easy and convenient.

NorwayNoisy fan / cooling ? system in the room. Woke me up every night. Access to hotel from main street should have been more direct,- not by lift. Breakfast quite ordinary,- bakery on sunday was dry and not fresh. The hotel gave the impression og fitness-facilities included,- this was not the case. Visiting Vienna ? Book a different hotel !

AustraliaThe ceiling in the bathroom had mould and the paint was peeling off it. There were construction works going on and drilling started very early in the morning. The hotel should have made people aware during the booking that construction works could be going on during the stay. We would not have stayed in the hotel had we known, we also paid full rate which is disappointing.

BulgariaThe hotel is ok, but it is not 4 star. Breakfast is ok, but overpriced. I requested early check-in. I was informed they will do their best to accommodate, but they did not. And the problem was not that we did not get the early check-in, but the lack of effort to inform us that it will not happened, even though when we came to the property there were more that 10 rooms that has checked out.(you can see the cards that were left at the checked out box). The first guy that we approached at 10:30 was very rude, and told to leave the language and to come back at 15:00. If we knew that we would not have rooms, we were going to organize our agenda and plan for the day differently. Another more polite guy told us to try at 13:00 and we did around 13:30, but the rooms were not ready. We decided to wait at the lobby and hoped somebody would inform us when ready, but no. We checked at 14:30, it turn out the rooms were ready, but nobody told us. The last day our card stopped working, I had to go 3 times to reception to make it works. There is no phone in the room. Also the shower is with glass walls, which is not comfortable when staying with kids.

ItalySo, I put 1 star, because I want to get low the rating. There was not a big problem, but, it is nothing special for that kind of money. The rooms are not completely soundproof as it says in the facilities and the lobby is more like a hostel. Obviously not a 4 star hotel

United KingdomThe drains were blocked which flooded our room with human poo. My husband had to unblock drains and touch previous guests poo. We had to mop up poo in our room with the towels. When we reported to reception they seemed to know there was an issue with the drains. Manager said we could get a refund through bookings.com but bookings.com have not given us a refund. Everytime I contact hotel they say to contact bookings.com. bookings.com say to contact hotel!

In the first day in my stay I put my don't disturb sign on the door and I didn't find it the next day so I asked the reception guy to have another one he told me you already have one and he was talking in a rude attitude. And in the same day the house keeping was cleaning my room and took my blanket cover, so I asked the same guy at the reception for a blanket cover later so he looked at me in the same bad way like I was lying to him and he told me " Oh so at first they took your sign and now your blanket cover and you just noticed that" I didn't like the attitude at all of the reception he was very rude I'm so disappointed in this stay unfortunately. The management was great and helpful but this is my worst stay in a hotel ever because of the reception guy and this is the first time for me to write a negative review to a hotel.

United StatesNoisy room, mostly with road noise and construction. We had a broken/slow draining sink and a broken A/C for a few days. However, the A/C was fixed after 2 days. The bathroom/shower set up is very awkward and there is no way to use the restroom at night without lighting up the whole room, which makes it annoying at night.
The location was good, close to a major metro station, and the general decor of the lobby was cool.
