Great hotel with nice and clean rooms. The hotel is located just around the corner from the largest shopping street in Vienna. U-Bahn station to the CAT and the Stephansplatz, as well as tram station to Schonbrunn are minutes away.

To be honest, there was very little, if nothing, we didn't like. I suppose if we were to nitpick, it would be that the shower water pressure was a little on the low side, but that was no big deal at all.

The room was extremely clean, a bit spartan, but with lots of light and a great balcony. Perfect for our needs. Breakfast was excellent. Large selection of food stuffs which was constantly topped up and every thing was kept clean and tidy by the staff. The area where the hotel is located is well situated. Most sights, inner city and museums reachable on foot within 30 to 45 mins, and only a few minutes walk from the main shopping area. The staff were incredibly friendly and highly professional. The bar/restaurant area has a great ambience. You felt extremely comfortable and relaxed as soon as you entered the hotel proper.

I was in a one day exhibition in Vienna, and I choose a hotel close to city and and best traffic. I choose Hotel Ruby marie at Mariahilferstrasse, and it was the best I could do. Just a half minute walk off the mariahilfer street, a modern trendy hotel, designed by the latest trend , as the reception is on the 5th floor, the lobby has a nice garden roof terrace, open air, the reception stuff was very kind, and they could welcome me hungarian language as his name was Roland, and i could get a top barista QUALITY COFFEE at the reception bar , the barista lady name was Boglárka and they both give me very good impression at the beginning, then I knew I am in the right place my room was on the top floor feeling like a penthouse, view to the vienna city, which is the most liveable city by the votes of european people. And its right, as the sun was shinning I took a walk around the hotel neighboring streets, no plan, just street were popping up as they come I like that even small hidden streets, the shops are existing, no closed shops around the streets are clean and very safety The mariahilfer is an old famous shopping street, with all the famous international brands its a half pedestrian half limited slow traffic street, and every 5 min a police car was crusing along to give a safety feeling to everybody walking over there. back to the hotel room, my room was very spacious, very comfortable bed with big shower , with a big side glass wall, As the penthouse level has a open air terrace belonging to the room, you can enjoy the Vienna over top look, which is very interesting visual experience Must try, book once this roof 8th floor room The breakfast very fine, premium , superfood quality, best was salmon and supercheese creams, and the coffee in the end was again perfecto as my favourite barista lady was again in duty called Boglárka and she made absolute top cappuccino. Might have been a bad day but some of staff felt like they were a bit annoyed. It felt like they were understaffed at some points, specially around 15:00 when people were checking-in. Nothing major but a touch of warmth and a smile wouldn't hurt. The breakfast was cheaper if booked the day before, but more expensive if decided on the spot (we hadn’t included it in our reservation). Maybe this is some norm I'm not aware of, but it felt a bit odd since it's a buffet. I can understand the efficiency effort but it felt more like a penalty.

The location is great; right at the beginning of Mariahilfe. Shops and dinning are only a couple of steps away. Has a great rock'n roll classy vibe. Almost like you're in a club. The bar area is nice, with some great cocktails and drinks available. We didn't try the food but what we were able to peek looked nice. Vegan/plant-based options available 🥦. Rooms are ok, much brighter than the overall hotel. The showers are open (with a curtain available - check the photos) so might not be fitting if sharing a room with someone less intimate. The rock'n roll theme does continue through the rooms 🤘. There are multiple parking options close to the hotel. They have a partnership with the one across the street but we found another just one block away which was even more affordable. They also have a workspace area which looks very cosy (and includes a meeting room as well). We didn't have any meals included but there's LOADS of options available around. If you're hungry you're doing something very wrong.

I dont like having to check-in twice, typing all the details that I already gave in my booking.com into an iPad again, it's annoying after a long trip there. There were some ants in my room, not enough to ask to move, but not expected on the 8th floor. Loft Room looks bigger in the photos than it is actually but still nice enough.

Really good location, good sound proofing. view from loft room is really nice.

Lovely hotel close to westbahnhof station and several restaurants. The check in process is a bit of a faff but staff were on hand to help. The bar area is a great space in the evening if you don't want to venture far. There is a food menu as well. Rooms are a good size, the shower area has a curtain so if you're sharing a room with a friend then you'll need to coordinate with each who leaves the room whilst you get naked. Great metro and tram network close by.

Inner room had too little air circulation, and since air-conditioning was automatically set to heat the room felt too hot at nights

I contacted the hotel 7, 8 days before my arrival via email but never got a reply, until my previous stay that was fine, so maybe an improvement on this...

Location is as I was looking for, metro, tram stop, shoops, bars and restourans near. One of the train station is 2min away so this all was very good. As my previous stay, highly recommended

I was missing a small fridge (minibar) in the room.

Excellent location, nice view from the rooms in 7th and 8th floor, modern rooms, possibility to borrow a quality guitar to your room for free, good breakfast, quiet.

The hotel was lovely, the location was great and room was comfortable. We also really appreciated the drinks voucher instead of cleaning service - we were only there for two nights so it was an excellent idea! The bar was lively and served great drinks. Only point is the shower was in the center of room - not a problem if you’re a couple but I imagine it could be awkward otherwise!

The location is perfect and the facilities are nice overall however the walls are super thin and lots of disturbances through adjoining room doors. The little cinema is also nice however overall the heating in the room was unbearable and couldnt be switcher to cooling. The coffee station is also appreciated but was almost always lacking supplies.

At the check-in we were given the option of a free drink or having our room cleaned daily for a 3 night stay. We opted for having our room cleaned.

The room - although not quite sure of the wow room and not quite the city view we were expecting, our room had a street view.

Compared to other Ruby hotels, the room we stayed in was a bit smaller. But overall nothing bad about the experience.
