Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

People mention the rooms being a tad small but that's pretty hard to change!
Small hotel delivering personalised service. Staff provided excellent service and were helpful. The buffet breakfast had quite a few meat options and not many non-meat options so we didn't have breakfast. The hotel has 24 hours reception and I think the bar was, too. Only two stories, the hotel as a lift. A small room fridge with beer, wine and water for purchase. Our room had a bench table, which was handy for takeaways! Efficient, individual, temperature controlled air conditioning. Excellent bathroom and great shower. There is an outside terrace, with a lot of shade so very comfortable on those hot days! Location is good, being less than 10 minutes from the railway station and less than 15 minutes to Mirabella Gardens, which in turn is a short walk to the Old City.

The elevator to our room has a few stairs, which is unfriendly for heavy luggage.
A nice and warm, old-fashioned place to stay, the bed is incredibly comfortable, with air conditioning, receptionists are all gentlemen and ladies, 6 minutes walk to the center station.

cramped room~sitting place / area one was hitting one’s legs . Bathroom is not suited for elderly persons-climbing into a tub for a shower is not without its risks. Manouverability while having a bath(applying soap/controlling temperature was risky.

The rooms are so small, we could hardly move since we have a lot of luggage. And the breakfast was nor so good, mainly they were cold cuts.
The location is good, close to the main tourist attraction and the train station.

Room was quite small for 3 people.
Hotel was just near the Salzburg Hbf. Very clean, nice and helpful staff. Lot of spaces to keep the luggages.

Nothing to note here. I wanted secure parking and although private, the parking lot next door was open to anyone, it was like a gravel parking lot. It seemed a lovely and safe area but wanted to share my thoughts with you. Car was fine 🙂 I'm just meticulous when it comes to my car
Hotel was fine for our needs, a very pleasant room. The staff went above and beyond to help us, even calling a local restaurant to see if they had gluten free menus. Lovely people, a credit to their heritage of a family run hotel.

Excellent location, close to the main train station. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. The breakfast was good. The wifi was a bit unstable but I managed to get my work done.

Warm water shower was not sufficient for 2nd to 4th guests.
Location was good. Beds were comfortable and cleanliness was super. Staffs were friendly. Early check in request was arranged.

The cozy room is clean and comfortable. It also has a small table with 2 chairs. The bathroom is new and a good size. The optional breakfast is worth the price. Staff at the desk were very helpful.

Clean friendly hotel, family run business and everyone was so accommodating. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone. The rooms have an additional table/seating area which is useful! Bathroom is the nicest bathroom I’ve seen, additional lighting and personal touch of a radio in the shower! It was super clean not a spot of dust in sight. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

The Room had a sofa diner like thing which ate up the space in the room on one hand but made it a good spot to eat something as well.
The hotel was located at around a 10-15 mins walk from Salzburg HBF station. The room was nice and the bathroom was spacious. The hotel looked good from outside & was at a 2-min walk from the nearest bus stop. The best part of the stay was an unique feature - there was a music system belting out amazing english hit songs in the local radio station. That was so cool because the TVs in such hotels are pretty useless having pretty much no english channel at all.

There was nothing, everything was just lovely.
Breakfast was excellent, great choice beautifully presented. Comfortable dining room well appointed. Bedroom was spotless spacious warm large bathroom.
