The restaurant menu was limited and quite expensive. The receptionists could be more helpful.

The view was amazing but we had paid extra to have a balcony. The room was warm and spacious but not luxurious .The breakfast was very good and I particularly enjoyed having my own teapot! The location was out of town but we chose that to get the view and a more traditional Austrian hotel. We booked and enjoyed the spa. We used Ubers to get in and out of Salzburg. The hotel would be difficult to access if there was heavy snow. We paid 4 euro each and got a bus up to the top of a mountain to be in the snow for a few hours. The view of the alps from up there was panoramic!

If you like to sleep in a little or have a quiet time, that’s not the right hotel for you. The walls are paper thin and you hear everything from the rooms next to you and the hallway. Also the staff is pretty loud early in the morning. ( vacuuming at around 6 am etc.)

We had a room with a view all over the mountains and the city, which was absolutely gorgeous.

If you’re on foot it’s difficult to access the city and the accommodation does not offer a pick up service. There is a restaurant on site with 2 different options for dinner and well priced but could not accommodate coeliac one evening and no other dining options in walking distance. Tea and coffee facilities in the rooms would be a great option.

No tea/coffee facilities in the rooms. After a day walking in the cold, it would have been nice to have a hot coffee on return. Staff never acknowledged us when we came in or left, we had to initiate all conversations. Staying at Christmas, it would have been a nice touch to have a Christmas tree to make it more festive. It lacked atmosphere and could be so much more.

Beautiful locations, with a stunning outlook. Food was tasty and very large portions. Easily shareable.

Breakfast was very tasty and of high quality but could be changed more often. The offer was the same for 3 days. The cleaning staff were amazing and very kind to my 5 year old daughter. Thank you!

Very nice place to stay, brings a certain type of classic atmosphere. The location and the views and the air quality, truly amazing. Breakfast variety of choices tastes delicious. Definitely would recommend to everyone!

We would have wanted to eat a little something in the hotel's restaurant but there was only a set daily menu offered. However, I do understand that they can't maintain an entire menu only for the hotel guests, so this is hardly criticism. It just meant for us, with a small child (picky), that we had to go eat something elsewhere.

The hotel is on the outskirts of Salzburg with a view over the city. The name "Schöne Aussicht" (beautiful view) is definitely justified. Unfortunately we arrived when it was super foggy and dark, so we couldn't see a thing :-D The hotel is comfortable, staff is very nice, the room was very spacious and included a table with comfortable chairs. There is plenty of parking space available and it's very quiet.

I would have liked to be able to make my own tea or coffee in my room.

The name of hotel completely lives up to the name, and very tranquil location with easy access to mountain trails and an okay distance to public transport as I had no car. And the breakfast was delicious and fresh.

When we booked the restaurant was open for evening meals, however we were informed before we arrived that it was closed Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. The two nights we were staying. The hotel is away out of the city and at least a quarter of an hour's drive to any restaurant. That means one of you has to drive and can't have an alcoholic drink with the meal. The bar was not open either though you could use a sort of mini bar option. That meant there was no atmosphere in the evening. There were quite a few people staying and we saw takeaway deliveries coming up regularly, pizza takeaway. Not what you would expect at a hotel. I would not have booked had they told me when I booked.that the restaurant was closed. I think you pay extra when the hotel has a restaurant that serves more than breakfast.

The hotel was in a lovely elevated location so you had a good view of the city. The room was a good size and breakfast was ok.
