Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bed was to hard for me, old standard in the room by that i mean it is not renovated except for the bathroom.
Close to everything in the city, nice staff, nice rooms. Big bathroom and it has been recently renovated.

The staffs are extremely helpful and polite. Great location, easy access to transport and it is possible to walk to the main tourist attractions. Spacious room has a classic look (which I particularly like) and the bathroom was large and renovated. Hotel is pet friendly! 🐶

Great location between the Naschmarkt and museum district. Safe parking in the hotel's enclosed garage. Very good breakfasts with breads, fruit, meat, cheese and hot options.

Spacious room, very helpful staff. Great location close to Naschmarkt and in the corner of the inner city. No free parking around, so you can park at the hotel's parking lot for 25 euros a day.

Excellent location near to metro and trams, just outside the Ring. Very quiet room, rather large with a large bathroom. Very clean with all needed amenities. It was my second stay at this hotel and it continues being an excellent choice to stay in Vienna.

It was lovely to have tea/coffee making facilities, but disappointing that the allocations of coffee and milk were so small and not necessarily replenished each day. We found the pay-on-the-day breakfast very expensive.
The bedroom was comfortable and of a generous size. The bathroom was large and modern, with a good shower. The location of this hotel is excellent. It's two minutes fron the Nachmarkt, where there is a good choice of breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the hotel sits at the heart of many major tourist attractions in the city. The hotel staff, in particular those on reception, were extremely helpful and friendly.

Not sure there's much I didn't like. The hotel was quiet, clean, the food was good and all the staff I met were helpful. What more could you want?
This is an excellent hotel in a good, central location. It it close to public transport and to lots of restaurants in the food market. I could walk to lots of places easily. The staff are friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and very clean, they changed my towels even when I didn't ask them to. I would stay there again, without hesitation, as a solo female traveller.

I don't think of any negative points that I experienced during my stay.
Very easy access from a U-bahn station, and very close to Naschmarkt. But the area is very calm and I enjoyed quiet nights. The room was extremely clean.

Nothing I enjoyed the property.
Staff were great I arrived super early and they let me check into a room 4 hours early. The staff were kind and spoke English well. The room was comfortable, large bathroom, good lighting comfortable bed etc. I would stay here again.

Nothing I can think of.
The rooms were really nicely furnished. The location was great. We went to the Vienna opera house to see Wagner's Goetterdaemmerujhg (it was an easy walk, 5-10 minutes). Staff was really nice and helpful. Relatively close to the the main center (Stephans Platz) and very close to trams and metro.

The one issue with this room was the air conditioning. Ours would make this terrible, loud grating banging noise every ten minutes, and we were visiting during a heat wave and needed to keep it on. Ear plugs made the experience alright, and we didn’t have time to bring it up for repair so it’s partly on us. But I’ve seen this is an issue experienced before.
Great location, very charming decor if you like a vintage look, very clean with nice amenities!

The hot breakfast choice was slightly disappointing for a 4 star hotel.
