Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandCan't complain about anything!
The hostel was beyond my expectations. It was very clean and comfy. Even though check in was contactless it was very easy to find everything needed thanks to message send by the hostel staff and signs inside. I was impressed with all the facilities that were available there, there was literally everything you might need during your stay: hairdryer, washing machine, iron, fridge. All available just like that, some of the things for a small payment. It was cleaned every day and the staff I met was very friendly. The location is also very well, it takes about 40 minutes on feet to get to the city center. I felt comfortable and safe there, I would definitely come back again!

BelarusI stayed there for few days and was great! That was my second hostel experience. I booked a bed in a feminine room. Is a few rooms family hostel and there was no traffic of people, very quiet place, ordered and clean, with needful things and good hot shower, perfect WiFi. My bed was large and stable, with my private light, outlet to charge my mobile, curtains, I slept very good. I liked a lot the bed made by wood, very good to breath. I was in July and I didn't feel hot, we kept fan switched on for night and was okey. In the room there is a box with the code-lock to preserve small size bag. To open the entrance door and room door you need a code too. I suggest to write it on a paper in case low battery of your mobile))). There are many supermarkets, bars in this area. In reception there is a small food/drink stand, scales to check a suitcase weight. I didn't use public transport, I like walking, very beautiful, in 20 min you arrive at museum quarter. Pauline was very gentle and responsive. She accepted my early check-in, and kindly printed my airplane boarding pass!!! That was very helpful for me. I give 10 of 10. Thank you!

ItalyIt was awful for solo-traveling, there is no staff, only self check in, no events and social at all. So just go there if you need a place to sleep, maybe with friends. I didn’t like the area as well, I didn’t feel comfortable, if you are a girl alone I would not recommend it.
The Hostel was overall nice and clean, there was a small kitchen and beds were really comfortable. You also had laundry for just 2€ and curtains in the beds.

SwitzerlandReally nice bed, big space. The toilet structure and shower were amazing. Really nice infrastructure to wash and iron your clothes. The kitchen is not so big but very functional. The self check-in worked really well. It is one of the best hostel I ever have been.

RomaniaThe hostel is a bit far from the city center, but at least it is close to a bus, tram and metro connection.
Great value for price. Room was small but that did not matter. Toilets and showers were really good and they did not lack anything. The kitchen, while small, was enough to cook pasta and other stuff.

MalaysiaJust that I can hear people talking and walking outside the building. Thin walls.
Everything was great. The bunk bed is spacious and larger than most hostels I’ve stayed before. Kitchen was equipped with necessities. Coffee and tea on the house. Public transport is nearby. Grocer is nearby as well. Self check in. All instructions given were crystal clear.

MoroccoEverything is clean and pleasant: Room, kitchen, shower, WC.. The beds are comfortable and pretty wide with clean sheets set and a tiny personal shelve, personal storage is also available. Each bed had curtains which is great for a little privacy. The hotel staff are also super lovely and ready to help if needed. It also felt super safe and calm.

GermanyThe hostel is overpriced. I was disappointed and felt myself somewhat cheated. I picked it up only due to absence of time, otherwise I should have made a more thorough search at the booking.com. The accommodation does not cost the money the owners ask for it (I was in June 2022, Mon-Fri costed 24 EUR, weekend 29 EUR). The owners do not invest in facilities, which are shabby, the bathrooms/showers were not in a quite good condition. The hostel was also somewhat dirtish, while the inner yard was clearly dirty. There were two hungry cats constantly begging for food from the tenants. The spacious beds with curtains are a plus - much due to these good beds I got a good sleep in the night. I recommend this hostel only if you are not sensitive to the problem of dirt (it was not SO criticial, for the owner tries to clean, but as it is not done everywhere it produces an overall unpleasant impression...) and hungry animals, and if interested in a relatively central location (3 km from the city center). You will of course get all the necessary things there like hot water, Internet, bedding, but overall, in my view, it does not cost it. I recommend opting for "Jugendgästhaus Brigittenau" (1070 & 1200): for the same price (24 EUR Mon-Sunday) I got FAR better conditions + excellent breakfast + central location (in case of 1070 - only ab. 10 min walk from the Parliament building).
Only spacious beds.

PolandThe main problem for me, that there was no window in the room, so it was stuffy and a bit claustrophobic. Bathroom and toilet could be more clean.
