Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesYou get what you pay for. I decided to go with the mixed dorm and it was very bare. It was three triple bunch bed. I recommend snatching a bottom bunk as the mattresses are thicker. There is only a few lockers available; but everyone in the room was kind and respectful of each other. The bathroom was biggest gripe. The sink area is falling apart and there is apparent mold. There is also no lock in the shower area. So just a curtain is your privacy against everyone. As a solo female traveler, that was a bit unnerving; but I didn’t encounter any problems as no one entered the bathroom area as I was showering.
The location can’t be beat. It’s right in the center of town and the hostel doubles as vegan cafe with local activities. The woman who runs it is super nice once you get to know her. She has a great eye for refurbishing furniture and make the cafe/ common area very homey.

AustriaI thought the tiny cozy private room basically had everything you need(except a shower curtain), but the price, €84, was just too high.
Its a cozy, friendly and stylish place with great vegan breakfast options.

UkraineThe hostel is in the center close to Jakomini platz. Perhaps, when it is full, problems with toilettes and shower may be, but I was lucky staying in low demand. Keep in mind, if you come late when the hostel's door is locked, you'll find just beside the opened elevator's door the locked hostel's door with the code-lock. While you, staying in the elevator, type the code and the hostel's door 'thinks', the elevator door will try to close :)

AustraliaRoom and toilet were tiny. Shower was in an alcove behind the door with only a curtain. Bed in room was about 1m above the floor with no step - quite tricky to get in and out of. Hard to use the code to get out of the elevator as the numbers weren't visible. Entrance alleyway wasn't inviting.
Location was great. Cheap and easy.

MalaysiaThe shared toilet was for both genders, so perhaps a bit more privacy than just a shower curtain would be great.
The location of the hostel was great, just a few min walk from the tram station & flixbus station. Short walk to all places of interest in old town... it was also clean and comfortable.

IndiaThe height of each bunk bed is too low, one can’t sit inside the bed without banging his/her head! That means you can only sleep, and not use it to sit and read or use your laptop comfortably.
Location and breakfast. Overall, an ok place to spend a night. Staff is great.

CanadaThe dorm was advertised as 6 bed, but it was actually 9. There were only four lockers for the room, which meant many people did not have a secure place to store their passports and valuables. Also, I think it would be ideal to have an option for a girls only dorm.
The hostel was really cozy and the shared space was comfortable. The hostel provided towels and space was very clean. Check in was easy as well.

United StatesThe door codes were confusing since they don’t work how you would expect them too, the staff was barely there and if they were, they didn’t seem like they wanted to talk at all. They were quick to help or resolve problems but then would go right back to their little room. I think adding curtains to the beds would help a lot
The hostels location was perfect, so close to everything in town. The actual hostel was a little trickey to find but once you know it’s fine, and the hostel is so cute!

Poland-The bed is quite high with no ladder/steps, so you have to jump up to get on it. -The shower has no curtain and is close to the window, so it is easy to get the window curtains wet and splash water all over the room. -Written messages from the hostel were inconsistent and confusing (e.g. check-in time, check-out time, breakfast/brunch time). -The door to the hostel is about 20-30 cm from the elevator door. You have to stand in the elevator while entering the code to get to the hostel.
The location of the hostel is very good. It's very close to the main attractions and well connected to the Flixbus stops.
