Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomReally great place to stay. Amazing value for money, especially considering the area and other accommodation options. Good kitchen and great amenities, comfy beds, decent wifi and a big ski room for all your gear. Lovely staff. 10 min bus from central st Anton or very manageable 30 min walk. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone considering St Anton for a holiday.

United KingdomGreat hostel, really clean and comfortable. They have thought of everything! Even 3 different settings on the main light and little lights in each pod. Nice comfy bedding and mattresses. And everyone has their own storage space in the room and in the kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped and makes a nice social area. I travelled alone and met people to ski with over breakfast which was a nice surprise 🙂

Self catered hostel. Location is great for the free and paid bus services - they all stop at the front door of the hostel. Beds and pods were very comfortable. All facilities were spotlessly clean and maintained. Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful

NorwayThe door to the sleeping room is hard to close without making a lot of noise. This made me wake up every time someone opened and closed it. The same is true for the curtains for each bed, they slide on the rod in a loud way. But earplugs are provided.
The staff was very nice. They give a tour of everything for every new guest. They also participate in games with the guests in the common room. I also liked the convenient ski gear storage with its own door, very practical.

United StatesGreat hostel! The showers were very clean and easy to get to. There was lots of room for your belongings and ski / snowboard equipment. You had to bring all your own food, cook all your own food, and clean up after yourself. The other guests did a good job doing their part to keep common areas clean.

United KingdomThe room was pretty small and no lockers for valuables. The automatic lights were a little annoying at night although the curtains on the beds did pretty much block them out. It's a long way to walk to the town, although there is a bus stop outside for the ski season.
The only hostel in St Anton and it was a good place to stay. Great staff and good facilities to cook and relax.

United StatesReally nothing.
LOCATION: This hostel is amazing! The location is excellent. If you come by car, there are plenty off-road parking next to it. If you come by train, there's a public bus taking you door-to-door from the train station to literally in front of this hostel. The same bus also brings you to St Anton town and several different ski chairlifts (Nassereinbahn, Galzigbahn, Rendlbahn). CLEANESS: The whole hostel is spotless! I spent 10 days there. There was no moment when any part of the hostel is not clean. I was amazed by how every time I hanged around, I'd walk by some staff vacuuming, mopping, wiping the counter, and just cleaning something... FACILITIES: The mattress and pillow are very comfy (NOT your basic hostel quality). Every bed has a curtain, so privacy is great. Each person has a shelf in the room. Lockers are in the basement first come first serve. Shower water pressure is strong and hot water becomes available quickly. They have a basement room specifically for storing snow gears, including some racks for snowboards/skis and a heating rack for the boots. Everything looks new. You can access this room directly from the outside. Super convenient! They have a great system assigning dry food shelf and fridge space per your room/bed number. I did big grocery twice and cooked all 10 days during my stay. No issue about storage space. I also like the free orange juice machine they have in the kitchen. You can get 2kg oranges for a few euros and enjoy fresh juice anytime you want. This machine is thoroughly cleaned everyday. There's a vending machine with some food and drink, including 2 euro instant noodles. STAFF: They are super friendly, attentive, and helpful. I wanted to cancel the last few days due to my plan change. The process was very smooth! If you don't mind roommates, you won't find better value-for-money or cheaper stay for St Anton and Ischgl skiing. I've tried and failed for the last five ski seasons :)
