Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyHowever, this property is few kilometres away from Vienna city, you will have to buy separate ticket. If you have a day ticket, it only valid for Vienna city. Secondly, if you plan to stay for a week, I won't recommend but good for one or two night stay. Again, the host was kind and nice person and I definitely would like to go back because of his kind act.
Staff was nice, helpful and friendly. I mistakenly went to the next stop in the middle of night. It was 8 k.m away from the property, I contacted with the host and he took me by his car and did not even ask for money. I'm so impressed by his kindness.

IsraelThere was some smell in the room , I guess that’s because the house is old.
The house is old and it has a certain charm. It was easy to take walks in nature from the place. The host Thomas was very helpful and welcoming. I also appreciate that the children and pets are welcome to this facility.

GreeceThe second floor was uhhhh not so clean. There were spider nets and old leaves in the shower and the tobacco smell was really strong.
The first floor is nice, clean and cozy. The host is friendly. Lockers with keys. Just two stops with Regio train from Wien Westbahnhof. Overall a great place to stay if you travel to Vienna and want to save money.

SerbiaThe other guests should try to keep the bathroom cleaner after using it, but that's something that has nothing to do with the place itself.
One of best hostel stays I've had so far. It's a one big house with everything in it. The room was spacious and so neatly organized, the bed was perfection, warm, quiet, you couldn't wish for more. You can use the kitchen like in your own home, the bathroom had everything, even the washing machine. The owner is a direct and very generous person. This is a place for adventure spirited people, as it's a little off the beaten track, it takes some time to get there from the center of Vienna if you're not by car, but it rewards you with the peace and the charm it has. All in all, I'm still under the positive impression I've had of this place.

MexicoIf you are going to Vienna proper, you will need to get either a bus or a train that is not included in the normal Vienna pass. The travel time to the city is also over an hour.
The hostel is cozy, the lower rooms have a grandmother's house feel. The owner is amiable and shows his effort to improve the building and keep it in a good running order. The rooms were decently maintained, the common areas were lush and trimming with life and the appliances worked perfectly. The area around is filled with beautiful forests where you can walk and at the same time has plenty of supermarkets around to provision yourself. This is one of the few hostels that offer a queen size bed in a private room.

United StatesToo many older men smoking in their dorm rooms. 45 minutes to an hour from city center by public transit, which can limit how much sight seeing you can get done each day.
The friendliest, most helpful, chillest hostel manager I've had on this trip, over 15 months of travel. 420 friendly, which was a big plus. A 10-20 minute walk to a restaurant and some public transit. Two kitchens. Decent bathrooms, hot shower. A game room. A musical keyboard, which was a huge plus for me!!
