The service was outstanding. The hotel owned by family members, and they take off their guests as if they are part of the family.

One of the best places I've ever stayed in. 💯 Not only was everything at Uncle Jack's fine-tuned to the last detail, from the ground floor to the rooftop, but the owner's family and staff were also incredibly nice and sweet, creating an amazingly pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are clean and very well equipped. The beds are comfy with firmer mattresses (thanks for those! :) We also enjoyed the sauna (there are two, to be precise) after our hike—you can make yourself tea or use water drops there to hydrate properly. Oh, and have I mentioned the breakfasts? They are really something! Thank you so much, we loved it :)

The staying at Uncle Jack was one of the most charming experiences that we had! The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, helped us with everything we needed, from recommendation of where to go, food and more, and everything with a real willingness to assist. The design of Jack is very unique and makes you smile and chill from the minute you step in :). The bar and the food in Jack's place were great as well - and sitting for a beer after a long day out is just perfect.

A small family owend hotel, it seems that the whole family is invested in making your stay comfortable and fun. The staff was helpful and kind - from the main desk, to the waitress and the kitchen. The design of the room and the hotel itself was beautiful and updated. The room was as clean as possible. One of the best showers I've had in a hotel. There is a spa area in the hotel that we didn't get to use. Breakfast was excellent. In the evening the lobby becomes an inviting and cool looking bar with great snacks to eat, and fun atmosphere. Location is perfect in middle of town, near restaurants, supermarket, and the cable car. There is a hotel parking.

Just one tiny recommendation - might be a good idea to have a small espresso machine for coffee and a boiler for tea on the rooms.

It could have been nice if there was some room cleaning during the time of the stay, and if towels would have been replaced with new ones, and more toilet paper.

Great breakfast, many options, the design of the dining room is special and the staff are friendly. It is a family business and it seems they are working hard for it.

The family owned Uncle Jacks was one of the best hotels we have stayed in Europe! We loved it so much, we extended our stay. Included cooked to order gourmet breakfast, complimentary cable ride (summer), owner guided sunrise walk with refreshments at the peak over looking the village of Flachau. Very family friendly but also a great bar to hang with friends. Decor was so stylish and relaxing. Absolutely loved our stay!!

We had a fantastic 9-night stay at Uncle Jacks. The hotel itself is beautiful, welcoming and always full of life. The crew is extremely helpful and nice. The room we had was very big and we used the in-room kitchen to prepare most of our dinners, and when we were too tired (or lazy) to cook, the hotel even had 2 special food nights - burgers and a BBQ. The location is great, right in the center of Flachau, which is a great place to start day-trips from, and it is also also very close to the SPAR supermarket, which was helpful when we needed to stock up on groceries. Also, the breakfast was amazing! Tasty, diverse, rich, and always prepared and served with a welcoming smile.

Awesome hotel, had a great time here. The rooms are large (we even had a huge terrace), beautiful and well equipped; the location is perfect (3 min walk to the skilift + right in Flachau center) and the staff is just awesome - lovely people for who no request is too much. Cherry on top is the great breakfast, we even enjoyed a homemade salmon tartare. Can definitely recommend Uncle Jacks!
