CroatiaSo basically the entrance is open to everyone, it means even you are not guest of the property you can enter anywhere except the rooms. We had an incident, after 4h long drive we came around 23h and at the entrance was a men drunk arguing with himself. We immediately contacted the owner and sent him a message but the number is only available from 8h to 20h so in that case nobody is there for you, not even a security guard that can handle the situation since anybody is free to enter the property anytime. After a couple of minutes we went to check if the guy was still there and he was lying on the floor (blocking the door), sleeping and snooring and everything around him smelled on alcohol. In that moment as we figured that we can't enter the property we called the police. The police came after 30min and solved the situation, after that we were able to finally go to the room and take a rest. The next day the owner insted of checking if everything is ok he started to argue with us as there I attach the screeshoot of our conversation. Never again!
The housekeeper was very friendly and the self check in process as itself was without any issues.

HungaryIt was quite a surprise that the bathroom only had sliding glass doors which were only blurred in the middle and they didn't close tight enough. It is okay for one person, but it's not ideal for two who want to have some more privacy in the bathroom.

AustriaThe room was extremely small, even with 2 people we weren't able to move around in the room if not one of us was sitting on the bed. The air in the room was very stuffy, as there is no more than one little window in the "bathroom" that can be opened - and when it is open, there are tons of mosquitos coming in. A warning about the mosquitos & hint to immediately plug in the anti-mosquito plug would've been really important and would've avoided us to chase them around the room for half an hour. The bed is quite small for 2 people. Like anywhere around the Wörthersee-Area, tourists are granted a tourist card for free whenever they stay in a hotel. However, we did not get such a card from the hosts, and when we asked for it, it was quite difficult to reach one of the hosts. It would be important to inform guests BEFOREHAND about that card as it grants reduced prices to many entrances in the area and to GIVE the card to guests upon their arrival (and not only if you explicitely ask for it). The neighbourhood is weird, there is nothing to do around there & you absolutely need a car to get anywhere in the town of Velden (be aware that the hostel is not at all IN Velden but in a different town!) All in all, the place is too expensive for its value.
It was easy to check in with the machine at the entrance. There is a parking spot just next to the hostel. The room & the hostel were very clean.

AustriaThe ad said the room had AirConditioning, however it didn't. When we went into the room, it wasn't just heat from the room, but also the heater in the bathroom was on in full blast, and it was broken. So, we couldn't even turn off the heater. So, no A/C, broken heater on in the middle of the summer. This was very disappointing. In addition, from when we checked in, we had trouble with all the codes to get in. Very old, sticky system that takes a dozen tries to work.
I could book a week before, and the rooms were enough for a Family of 5. The parking outside was also fine. Overall the rooms themselves were okay.

AustriaOnline check in process is very complicated and not at all user-friendly. We purchased a room with air-condition but it did not work at all. Over 80 degrees room temperature felt like a sauna. Very old building, very steep stairs, not comfortable at all.
There was no breakfast offered, just coffee in the room. The rooms overall are ok but very small.
