Amazing friendly staff, very social atmosphere and comfortable stay.

I didn’t like the room I was assigned - a small quite stuffy room of four beds which could only be accessed through walking through another room. And the lightly built bunks do not cope with top-bunkers tossing like heffalumps all night because they’ve got insomnia. If I ever find that man…! He’s the reason for a less than glowing review.

Lovely independent hostel, wonderful kitchen and calm courtyard garden. The staff have gone the extra mile to cater for the needs of their guests.

We stayed 4 nights in a private room and it was a really nice stay. The hostel has a great social atmosphere and also feels homey. The staff are really friendly too. Would highly recommend staying here.

The breakfast is fantastic. I love the decor and the thoughtful signs everywhere. There is hot tea available in the afternoon, as well as many interesting activities. The cabinet in the room has a sensor lock, which is very convenient, and the room's decoration makes me feel very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

There is no curtain in the bed, so the privacy is not as great. If you happen to stay in the bed in the middle of the room, you will be exposed to both sides.

A great hostel with spacious room and great social space. I like the room that has toilet and shower inside. Although it could be a bit of traffic jam in the morning for a 6 bed room full of girls. But we managed to scatter our bathroom time in the morning. There is a locker provided in the room. It’s not big enough for big suitcase, but it’s ok if you have only carry on luggage. The hostel has quite a bit of social spaces and it encourages people to socializing, especially during dinner time. There is a full equipped kitchen. So it’s convenient as well.

It was nothing I didn't like. The outdoor areas are closed too early, but that's a Vienna thing, not a hostel thing.

5 stars hostel. Exceptional well run. Very friendly and helpful staff who speak perfect English. Everything was spotlessly clean. I had a private room, and it was very spacious and cozy for a hostel room. There was a wash basin in the room, so there was never a queue for the common toilets and showers. Excellent WiFi which works everywhere. I really liked that it was a garden sitting area. I would definitely have stayed longer, if it wasn't for that Europe is getting too cold for me now in November. Nice heated room though. Superhint: Do not buy a travel pass until you get here, you won't regret it. And yes, there's a bar as well.

Bunks had no curtains but that didn’t bother me as much as I thought.

The common area was spacious and cozy, with different areas for different purposes, with music instruments and a variety of board games. The kitchen was kept clean and there was enough fridge space. Guest were allowed to use an assortment of basic cooking ingredients such as spices and oil. My room was equally cozy and well decorated, with plenty of natural light, comfortable bedding, big enough lockers (with their own lock, meaning I didn’t have to buy/carry a lock myself), and each bed had a small lamp. I liked that we could use the toilets and showers other than the ones “attached” to our room. Extremely costumer-oriented staff, serving (vegetarian/vegan) donation-based dinners every evening and organizing daily activities for the guests. Communication with the guest was well managed via a spam-free WhatsApp group. Breakfast and bar services were affordable. Two lovely patio areas. Luggage lockers were free.

Location from metro and trams was excellent so getting into the city was super quick, easy and cheap. Also a walkable distance from schonbrunn (would reccomend). Rooms were excellent and you had your own locker inside the room which when you’re travelling alone definitely gives you peace of mind. The common area was so lovely to relax in and meet people, plus they have all the facilities you need and more. Truly they have thought of everything!

The whole experience from checking in, getting settled, eating dinner together with other guests and enjoying a few beers at the bar was perfect. Especially for a solo traveller. It's what all hostels should strive for. Also the Italian girl with the dyed hair at reception is lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome hostel! They have incredibly nice staff, a very cozy common room, a bunch of social opportunities including a dinner, bar, happy hours, pop quiz night etc. This hostel also clearly attracts the right kind of travelers, I had a nice experience with every one of them.

I don’t think I can fault anything!

We loved our stay at this hostel! Firstly, they upgraded us from a private room to an apartment for free which was an unexpected (but lovely) surprise when checking in, and the apartment was amazing - spacious, well-equipped, and felt like home. The staff were always really friendly and helpful, the public transport card offering at reception was excellent, and the shared spaces were great and really social. Plus, the location was really well connected to everything we wanted to do in Vienna.

I liked the possibility to buy water and soft drinks at the reception. Also Juan and the team at the reception helped me with figuring out how to get to the destination I was looking to go in the suburbs of Vienna.

Very friendly staff; the hostel includes shared kitchen, laundry, coffee shop, breakfast menu, homecooked dinner to pay for as you wish, lockers to leave your bags, safe lockers in the room, piano, guitar, books and games, good instructions of what to see in Vienna. Shops, bakeries, fast food, cafes, everything is close, and the uban/bus to the airport is up to 10 minutes walk. Great for young solo travelers.

Ventilation. The windows could not be opened and needed ventilation.

The staff was great! Even though it was only one day, they went out of their way to make sure I had a pleasant and relaxing time. I loved the breakfast chef. She was very cool in taking orders 😄
