Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicThe interior desing of the accomodation is just spectacular. Almost everything made from wood and looking amazing. The manager was super nice and helpful, we experienced a problem with the lock, but it was fixed quickly. Good thing is that in the building there is also a restaurant. Breakfasts were good.

United KingdomCurrently no other restaurants in the village or near walking distance. For evening meals plan ahead and cook yourself (great kitchen) or travel into town (10 min drive). The Xeis Stube restaurant is open Thursday - Sunday, but check times. Nest does have reasonably priced snacks to buy onsite (pizza, crisps / fantastic local wines). Pure cotton linen would have made it absolutely perfect, but the beds were very comfortable as they were.
Highly individual and stylish modern Alpine decor. So well constructed, bright with great facilities and equipment. Relaxed atmosphere, Tomas and his team were so welcoming. Plenty of space to park, and space to breathe. Rooms are comfortable and we loved the backdrops of nature. Our room Enns resounded with the gentle sound of the outside passing brook. Glad we sampled the breakfast (excellent, quality and served by Karen with warmth and friendliness). Also able to try the Xeis Stube, reservation recommended. Music night was fun with locals coming together to jam. Food was good and plentiful. We also used the village swimming pool which was excellent, clean with stunning scenes all round. Highly recommend Admont kloster library - the ticket encompasses an additional 3 museums (natural history, medieval art, kloster history and fine art collect). Their restaurant was superb. The area is stunning and you need a car to explore. We were in awe of the road to Johnsbach and the surrounding treks and mountains.

UkraineWe had a room with a view on the cemetery. It wasn't a problem, but for some reason I expected the room with a mountain view.
Xeis NeSt has the most comfortable beds ever! Our room was very clean and the people working there were very friendly to us! I also support Xeis Nest initiative on preventing food waste during breakfast.

United KingdomVery little not to like as it was so beautifully presented. Suggested improvements would be a choice of firmer pillow ( this was an issue in all our accommodation in Europe) and a brighter bedside light, reading was very difficult and overhead lights were very bright! finding the house would have been easier if directions other than the house number were given, saying it was located by the church.
It was incredibly clean, modern and designed to an excellent standard throughout. All fittings and furniture were of high quality and design. The decor was typically Austrian and with lots of natural wood everywhere. Although the hostess was not always there, she was warm and welcoming and very trusting. She prepared us a very traditional European breakfast with a special pan to boil our eggs to perfection and an ultra smart coffee machine. everything was very fresh. We had the option of selecting Austrian wines had we wished. There was an outside terrace too which would have been lovely had it been warmer. Downstairs was a comfortable lounge area too. We were pleased that we could control the heating as it was cooler in the evenings. We had the freedom to come and go as we wanted which suited us very well, and parking was convenient outside the property. We had the option of a mountain view room with a burbling stream flowing outside our window. It was very quiet and although we had the option of eating in the next door Gasthof we chose to drive 5 km into the nearby village of Admont.

SerbiaBreakfast was the same every day, there was a lack of vegetables, yogurt, eggs. The room we were in was not cleaned or tidied for a single day, except that the garbage was thrown out on the first day, although the cleaning lady tidied up the corridors, The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were a disaster, completely unusable The room does not have a classic wardrobe, and the place where things are left is too small and quite impractical All advertising brochures, books, maps and similar things that should help to get to know the place and its surroundings are exclusively in German, and this presents problems for us who do not speak it.
Peaceful and quiet place with a beautiful view of nature. Furniture made by hand from wood, perfectly integrated into the decoration of the room.
