We really loved our stay at Zum Hirschen Salzburg! The atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful – delicious and with great variety. The waitresses were especially attentive and caring during breakfast. If we ever come back to Salzburg, we will definitely stay here again!

The hotel was located in a very decent area within a 20 min walk to distance to old town while you walk through beautiful Mirabel gardens. There was a grocery store close by where you can get some good breakfast as well. Many good restaurants close by. The room was clean and very well kept. The separate bath and toilet was a nice thoughtful touch. Staff was super helpful and always willing to provide the information you need. Definitely recommend this place.

Lovely hotel close to lots of good restaurants (booking advised). In the new town and about 15 mins walk into the old town. Lovely walk through Mirabell Gardens and over the river. Nice breakfast served until 10.30am on weekdays and 11am on weekends. Rooms cleaned daily. Towels only cleaned if left on the floor. Only thing we would fault is that although the room was serviced daily, the floors weren't hoovered at all during our 5 day stay which meant the room never truly felt cleaned. Other than that, can't fault this hotel. Would stay again and recommend.

The staff had always been helpful and gave us advices on sightseeings except for the lady on our last day who was on night shift. Our heater was turned off and we couldn’t turn it back on as it was controlled by central system. I went downstair to ask for help. The first message i got was ‘impossible, the heater can’t be turned off’. She checked and it appeared to be turned off. She said she will need a time to fix it and asked me to go back to my room. But in the end, the heater wasn’t turned back on the whole night. Luckily, the room was not too cold to sleep that night.

Beautifully renovated hotel in a great location near to the station and a short walk from the old town. The room was a great size and the shower facilities were excellent. Staff were extremely polite and helpful.

It is a bit of a walk to Salzburg old town and main attractions. If you don't mind walking it is still good location!

Awesome place to stay in Salzburg. If you come my train it's a quick walk to the hotel. The room was big and comfortable, and we booked one with sauna in the room.

It was hard to find a sit for the breakfast but it was weekend so I suppose it would be different at other time.

I loved this hotel, the service, the facilities but specially the Sauna. Spacious room, so quiet at night, tv channels in many languages, gas station beside the building, very central, spotless, amazing shower, I would rate it higher if I could. Thank you for everything.

Lovely interiors, very friendly staff. Would be nice to have a coffee machine in the room for the price of the room but with a location so near the centre it was easy to head to a cafe for coffee in the morning instead. Really good size rooms, and the sauna is a nice bonus!

Almost nothing, the place is a hidden gem and I will definitely come back to it. Only thing that was odd was that there was no light switch or automatic light sensor in the bathroom, so the light just stayed on (door could be closed though). Complaining on a high level here 😅
