Be careful the charging station is manage by Chargepoint Austria. The cost is time-based … !! Of course in an hotel you will let you car plug all night .. so the charge will cost you more than the hotel. Hotel to avoid if you want charge your electric car. I advise the hotel to change service provider.

No restaurants close by. It was always a bit of a walk to find dinner. One night we just had subway because it was close by.

The cost was a affordable for budget minded travellers. The location was good- close to the railway station and, once we found our way, a walkable distance to the Fortress and Old town.

Couldn't fault the hotel, it was really lovely.

The hotel was decorated beautifully. It was so clean. Included in our stay we had access to a sauna which was a real treat after quite a few hours of driving. The staff were friendly, and we were able to park the car safely in a secure car park underground which was good as this was a stop off back to the airport.

The area was not too quiet - you could hear the road. The curtains didn't darken the room enough, which was somewhat uncomfortable for us. Parking was super-expensive and necessary (unfortunately), as there is no alternative parking around.

The room was excellent, a bit bigger than expected, and was probably recently renovated (or very well maintained). The shower and WC were super clean, and the shower was the most comfortable I have ever experienced. The room was immaculately clean and comfortable, as were the bed and pillows. Totally 10/10. The hotel staff was super nice and helpful, they helped out with a late check in, and with great suggestions for excursions outside of Salzburg as well as savings on local attractions. Thanks to them we had the greatest unplanned trip outside the city. The breakfast was varied and fresh - totally worth the price, and not having to have breakfast in the city. Having it outside in the hotel's courtyard was a real treat!

Nothing, great hotel

The room was lovely very smart and beautifully decorated. Aircon verry efficient, and bathroom had everything you could need. and separate toilet works for me. Reception staff very helpful and friendly Location very good, and bedroom very quiet. Main Station on hand. Would happily stay again.

For the price I could stay in a 5star with a pool, jacuzzi balcony etc. Not worth the money at all

More detail housekeeping. Bathroom shampoo are both finishing. Despite requested housekeeping, bathroom shampoo is still not replenished.

I rarely write reviews but can’t say enough good things about Hotel Zum Hirsch! The hotel was just renovated and is absolutely stunning. The spa services are complimentary, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the staff was helpful and kind. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the Old Town, and they held our bags after check out so we could continue exploring before catching our next train. We will be back!
