Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyI'm not sure how new this hotel is and therefore also the staff, and that is the reason for the issues we had. However, I feel for the price of the stay the issues we had shouldn't have transpired. Despite pre-arranging a baby cot, and agreeing to pay an extra 15 euros per night (which i found very surprising considering the hotel rate) the cot was not in the room, which is fine. However I then needed to ask 2 times and finally the cot arrived at 930pm. Furthermore, considering we were 3 in the room - we were continually supplied with 2 towels and again, had to ask multiple times. Finally, the hotel bar supplied no snacks, not even crisps. Despite having a very limited snack menu of around 4 items, both nights we queried all but one item were unavailable. Again, for the price of the hotel, at the very least the bar should be able to provide at the very least crisps (or similar) to go with drinks.
Location was close enough to walk into town. Hotel was very clean and breakfast was very good.

Australiait seems to be a new hotel but looks more like an expensive boutique backparking. ridiculously overdone with ergonomics and eco feeling, to the extent where there is a clear feeling of big brother watching .... basic things:.. bathroom does not have a lock and is very small, economic shampoo etc.. in liquid form... so there is no normal soap.. the water temperature is variable and not always hot. you need to spend 10 minutes of actually wasting water!! to get the temperature right.. and if you do want to have a hot shower - forget about it.. it s not eco.. though there is hot water in normal tap .. go figure... but thats nothing trust me!!! when the whole hotel goes without hot water at all ??!!!! the hot water system gets broken on boxing day in the evening and services are only restored by the next morning!!! if that's not enough... forget about temperature control in your room!!! if you think you are in control ... LOL ... its an eco gimmick!!! the hotel decides whats better for you .. if its winter , it is heating, summer is cooling... and they will decide again what temperature is better for you. The temperature is controlled automatically and remotely. so, you need to talk to reception if you want to lower it or switch off... but again, if you are thinking, you are in luck, forget about it. after a few hours it goes back to default settings and you wake up in sweat again!!! the only suggestion is to open the window in winter... but.. hold your breath.. its quadruple glazing to keep you from the nose of the main street where your hotel is. so, if your room is not facing the courtyard, you wouldn't not be able to sleep anyway the doors in the hallway, some of them fire, close automatically at night, so do not worry when people trying to open them thinking that they are breaking into someone's room everything is on sensors, obviously including lights everywhere.
almost nothing bedding was new, therefore the beds and bed linen was still very good. The sauna and spiet centre are very very good. The location is very reasonable but close to the main railway station and few strange people ate on the street

AustraliaI didn’t like that you had to pay for fresh water, that feels like a staple that should be replenished daily when the rooms made up. I also struggled with to have a hot shower in morning. Night time no issues, morning however, whether early or mid it was cold, at best lukewarm. Not ideal given winter. But not to downplay that the hotel was lovely and the service fantastic and very friendly and welcoming.
The room was gorgeous and the facilities fantastic. I found the location ideal as you could walk everywhere.

United KingdomWe had an issue with the loud music playing until 5am from the bar in the hotel. When I rung down to reception, the reception girl was very rude. She said she didn’t know how to turn the iPad for the music off. I asked if there was any way of turning the volume down on the iPad or whether there was anyone else who had a password as this music kept us up all night. She replied “well how do you think it is for me? I’ve got to work here with the music as well” I explained I’m a paying customer and I don’t expect to not be able to sleep when I pay to stay somewhere. She wasn’t very helpful, was incredibly rude and I would suggest some further training on her customer service. The following night, the music in the bar kept us awake til 2am. I rung her again and she said “the music will turn off when everyone leaves the bar” surely there is a closing time for the bar??? This issue really did impact my stay and let down such a beautiful hotel and amazing staff during day time hours. A few other issues:- - The water on one of the days was freezing cold - We didn’t have our bedding changed, fresh towels or room cleaned on any of the days
This hotel is beautiful. The bed is so comfortable. Good gym & sauna area. The decor is gorgeous. The day time reception staff were very attentive and welcoming.

United KingdomUnfortunately when we arrived one side of the bed was full of hairs. We did get moved to another larger room which was good. However, the solar tv control was dead and when recharged to use on our second night the tv didn’t work correctly. We also had a very weak WiFi connection from the room. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable.
Location was good and staff were friendly. Sauna was also nice.

AustraliaThe air conditioning in our room was extremely warm and we werent able to adjust it. The male staff was very dismissive of our concerns but the female was very nice and as helpful as she could be.
The location of the hotel is good for access to the train station and town centre. The rooms are decorated very tastefully and the overall appearance of the hotel is good.

AustriaThere is a pigeon problem: I booked a room with balcony and it was very dirty with pigeon droppings. The closet space is tiny and there is only one wafer-thin drawer next to closet. The housekeeping male staff was quite rude and did not respond to our greeting nor offered to help with luggage when they saw us struggling on the steps. I also don’t like the QR code scanning which has substituted printed in-room hotel info .
Very nice spa area, good breakfast, nice design details, friendly front desk staff, convenient location from train station and near old town .

United KingdomAs situated in the city the room was small and although we were not on roadside the room was overlooked by the adjacent building which had balconies and our window had no blind so we had to keep the curtains shut. The duvet was very hot as we had polyester sheets which you would not expect when paying circa £200 per night.
The hotel was well situated for walking into the centre, was very clean and ideally not too large. The staff were very attentive and helpful when required.
