Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe USB ports didn't appear to work. When in the bottom pod and someone needs to get into the upper pod, quite often it makes the whole structure shake to an unacceptable degree. The upper pod should be anchored in such a way it does not affect the bottom or nearby pods. At one point I thought I had locked myself in the toilet. Someone helped me get out quick enough though.
The pods offer a level of privacy not seen in most hostel accommodation. I think 6 pods was enough for the area that was available, and we didn't really see or disturb each other. Most snoring can be drowned out by switching on the air circulation fan. There were 4 mains outlets, which was good.

AustraliaCapsules were basically bunk beds with a plastic shell, so little acoustic privacy. Kitchen and bathroom were not quite up to the demands of that through put of people

AustraliaPerhaps a supply of toilet paper in the cupboard under the sink, and maybe a TV in the rooms.
I loved the shower. The water pressure, the instant hot water and the privacy

AustraliaMy only negative would be there’s no lamp in the room so stuck with the massive bright light on or no light at all but in regards to the stay overall…. It’s the price i pay, for the price I pay….
Great location - within walking distance to my necessities at the moment. Frank is accurate in his description of the property, it has more of a share house type of vibe (being a hostel/homestay) rather than a hotel. In saying that, rooms I’ve stayed in are always clean & the property is EXTREMELY QUIET overnight. The other guests, are like me, simply requiring a roof over their head for the night instead of being on the streets. I’ve stayed here a few times now and it’s got a very homely feel. I’ve only ever stayed in the rooms and not in the pods so I can only comment on them. Check-in is always prompt and hassle-free, Frank has great communication with his guests and for someone like me who suffers with social anxiety, the self check-in option is definitely a bonus.

AustraliaLocation.
The Pods were a great experience. North Richmond was an interesting place to be located & not necessarily a safe one. I was able to access the property & come & go easily while feeling like it was secure for only guests. Staff were aware I was coming & happily answered questions. Other guests were friendly & I felt safe & comfortable.

LatviaThe district is not very good, there are full of drug dealers, thieves, I saw someone stealing food from grocery store nearby. As male workers are taking care of this place, it is not very clean, surfaces in my room were dirty. There was a fan in my room, but it was still too hot. There was an option to have dinner/ breakfast for additional charge, but all the products I saw around did not look fresh, had no wish to use this service.
I liked that I could find cheap place to stay. Train station is close.

AustraliaNot a lot of fridge space. Powdered milk for coffee. And sometimes can house undesirables, like the hysterical ragged woman who was getting kicked out as I arrived.
I liked that I got to have my own space, even if it was just a room, it my room for a night. I've paid more for a backpackers hostel which didn't have a smokers area, had to share with 3 other blokes and dormitory style setting. Here you get a literal house with your own safe and private (and not small either) room.

ItalyNot very clean, but o expected that. So that's fine. Anyway nothing too much. The only tip I want to give to all people with car: The parking it's perfectly easy to find around that area bit it's 2P or 4P. So you should move the car every couple of hours. And.. to be honest it's maybe better to pay a full day parking somewhere around so u don't have to worry about that meanwhile you visiting the city.
The owner is really kind and gentle if you need anything. The house is really nice. Not too far from CBD. Maybe 30 minutes by foot. The chance to be close in your space, when you are in bed, it's really good. Also because you have your private light and private charger. Also, really quiet. Big kitchen, 2 bathrooms, nice living room and terrace.
