The unit layout and facilities were great, however, sadly, some aspects are looking a little tired. A fresh coat of paint, rehanging of curtains and new dinner plates would do wonders.

There was no hot water… the switch was turned off, not sure why. No gas for cooking as both gas bottles were empty. Had to call to get them replaced. Malfunctioning water pump located right outside the bedrooms which turned on and off all night long.

There was no internet that means there was no option for watch TV. One of the bulb and the switch in the main bedroom were broken. Also, there was no dishwasher.

The location is good, the property is large and the sofa is very comfortable! We arrived half an hour early, there was no drama to check in. And the manager took action effectively once I reported that the bulb did not work.

No Wifi / internet and there was no phone signal locally to use our own roaming. Whilst it is in the notes it should be highlighted, as most people simply assume that there will be some way of accessing the internet. Where phone signal is limited landlords normally go out of their way to provide it in the accommodation. When we booked we knew that there were 2 bedrooms. When we got there we saw notes saying that the second bedroom must not be used, or there was a significant extra nightly charge. This should have been clear at booking. Whilst it made no differences for us on this trip, but that is not the point. On a different trip we might have taken this one as the second room gave options for friends to visit.

There is only ketchup, oil and a couple porridge satchets included. Must bring your own: tissues, paper towel, spray & wipe.All food ( incl butter), cling wrap ,baking paper or aluminium foil and real coffee and toilet spray ( no fan in main)- if you use such items. There were 18 kitchen drawers with random items all jumbled up.I tried to sort into categories. Laundry door is locked,no big deal, just weird. Cleaner arrived 30 mins before 10am checkout to drop something off. We did not know it is actually Swannick not Coles Bay until after we booked- Its okay, our bad for not checking. Guess that is why it was so cost effective as you are 5 -10km away.

Super clean, comfortable bedding, everything worked. Generous space. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, well appointed.pots/pans /knives appliances all great. Enjoyed our stay, it was excellent unit. Made visiting Coles Bay/ Freycinet lovely. Brilliant for the price. Someone has put in a lot of effort to make it nice & pretty.

I understood the house was at Coles Bay….it wasn’t. The property was on a new housing estate quite a long car drive from Coles Bay.

We assumed that, with a Coles Bay address, property would be close to the jetty and boat cruises. However, it was 10 minutes drive from Coles Bay village, which meant that we had to drive there and find parking.

Location not great and unclear from listing it had no view of golf course. A few things were out of battery/not working: bedside lamp light, hall light, tv remote not fully functional, battery very low on aircon remote and had to operate from main unit. Keys also not provided for laundry external door so made using laundry less convenient.

There were a few almost broken light switches in the master bedroom. I didn't use these as they felt like they would fall apart and be dangerous if I did. Also the shower heads need a good deep clean there was lots of gung in the jets.

The house was for the most part immaculate, had heaps of space and a great outdoor area with a bbq. And the kitchen facilities were superb. The lounge area was amazing too, and had heads of space, and it was great to have a good laundry facility
