Room was very tired and needs some serious renovation and cleaning. New owners still finding their feet as far as customer service goes. Trying to have unmanned office and self service key didn't work. No credit card facility.

Really awkward check in, insecure parking, a lot of noise at night from the highway.

It was close to a venue that I was attending, the price was low, and the room was clean.

Noise level from other guests was inappropriate, no staff to ensure they quite down after 2am. The gate was locked each night, however we didn't have a key to open it. A phone call was easily made, however it was very inconvenient to have to call each time night and morning to exit the facility.

Cleanliness!

WE were quite disgusted by the fact that we found a used condom on the floor in the room. The room also had a very bad odour. We called reception but we didn't get a response, so went and bought room deodoriser from the supermarket which didn't help much. The following morning we asked to move to another room which they did with an apology.

We did not get the room we'd booked so I couldn't have a bath; there are pet birds screeching, squawking, chirping, non stop; I do not recommend to travellers who need a quiet place to recuperate; very very noisy.

One of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve ever had. This place was absolutely filthy and should not be listed as pet friendly, or even as suitable for guests at all. There were rat bait stations inside the room—yes, actual poison left out in a pet-friendly listing. Totally unacceptable and dangerous. The room was dirty from top to bottom: • The shower was disgusting, clearly not cleaned. • The bathroom sink had dirty mugs left in it. • The toilet didn’t flush properly. • The floors were grimy and visibly dirty. • The bed had hair all through it, and the bedding was old, thin, and stained. • The entire room felt neglected and unclean. To make things worse, the noise from the next room went on until 2:30am, making it impossible to get any sleep. The door lock didn’t feel secure at all, which made the stay feel unsafe. And the toiletries were random, unlabelled big bottles of who-knows-what. I would never stay here again or recommend this place to anyone. It was a truly uncomfortable and disappointing experience.

There was a smell, could do with a deep clean. Rooms were hard to find, we had to wait for someone to arrive to show us to our rooms as it’s self check in. The smoke alarms had been also removed from the room so stay here at your own risk! Manager messaged me at 10pm at night asking us to pay through bank transfer even through we had checked in hours earlier, and our CC was on file.

Beds were poor quality and there was no doona cover - only a thin polyester blanket. Unfortunately the room smelled very unpleasant. As the property is pet friendly I wondered if it was pet urine. Backdoor to the property had no lock. Poor security generally. Doorknob was secured with sticky tape. The property was not well maintained. Christmas decorations were still up in late February. Cracked mirror in bathroom, stained bath, random cords and hooks in various places in the room. No one was there when we arrived to greet us - the property appeared unattended. While someone arrived soon after we called (a mobile number listed on the front door), the check in experience was unsettling.

The bed sheets had nurimous stains on it and the fridge had mould in it. The carpet was dirty needed a vacuum. The hallway smelt of cats wee very disgusting. Would not recommend this place at all.

More care could be taken to ensure that outside entrance to apartments is cleaner.

Location to the shopping centre and Kernot Hall is very convenient. Large room with great space for kids, huge bathroom. Simple kitchenette but clean and stocked with essentials. Next to the Italian- Australian club, which had a great restaurant and kids play area with free games.
