The key to the front door did not unlock the door. I called the help number and was told a staff person would come and assist me. I was standing in the dark and it was raining. After 10 minutes another guest opened the front door from inside and I was able to get inside I called the help desk back and let them know I was inside Later I went downstairs and could not let myself out the front door for the same reason I did not experience being safe at this hostel The door handle on the door to my room was loose although it did lock. It did not feel secure I slept on the floor against the door so that no one could force entry if they wished to

The bed, felt like I was on the floor and woke me up everytime I move the smallest amount. Unable to watch anything on the TV.

No kitchen utensils, we were on the second floor and we could hear people from 5am above us, toilet paper not replaced daily, air-conditioning not cold enough.

The bed makes squeaky noises when you move. Even when moving your body slightly, it will make noises. It wasn’t very great to sleep through it. It’s dusty on the table and the chair.

Throughout the night my body felt like it was covered in bugs while sleeping on the mattress and became very itchy so I got very little sleep. I couldn't bare the thought of sleeping on the mattress for a second night, therefore I cancelled my trip with my family and came home a day early.

There were no bed sheets and when I sent a message to staff about it , I got no answer and never did. There was bits of long hair scattered around the bathroom . It didn't look like the place had been cleaned very well . There was no milk for the tea , I asked about that and was told they would get some , but they never did . Just outside our room there was a nice lounge area , but the whole time it was filled up with laundry that was drying on racks. So the whole place looked and smelt like a laundromat. There was also no fan in the room even though it was advertised . There was also alot of noise , stomping at night and early morning, from 7am the first morning and 6.30 the second morning . If they fixed these issues it would be a great place .

The price was decent, there is not much around for the same price . The room was good , the bathroom was nice and the terrace was really big and a great feature but had no chairs or table which was a shame and an easy fix . Its a good location ,just a walk to shops and public transport. Id recomend and stay again even though it has some issues .

The shared spaces make it only suitable to people who are happy not to have much privacy. There was little to no cutlery to be able to eat your own food in the home. Communication was difficult due to a language barrier.

no maintenance, the cheapest most ugly unaesthetic uncomfortable cheap second hand furniture. no dishwasher tablets, filthy dishes, old unhygenic plates and cuttlery, bare minimum kitchen things, less than camping or old backpacker quality of objects, totally doesnt match the house, no balcony furniture so to enjoy the view you better sit on the ground, advertised like an apartment, deceptive pictures and listing, says pricvate kitchen but further down the page it says shared kitchen, this is a share house, very uncomfortable bed, no bath mat, not tea towel, no tissues, the cheapers costco coffee and tea, broken furniture extras and broken fans and old post it notes all over the house, its a mess, for a massive and beautiful house it is very inhospitable, the noise from the ground floor travels to the top floor. its very loud, no carpets. not good for intimate moments even if the bathroom is huge and and the space ie beautiful... the sound travels in every way. there was laundry hanging all over the balcony, making it unusable, there was mouldy dishes in the dishwasher, it just had less care and usability than the cheapest backpacker. not near the beach or the shops, in the rain it would be impossible to get anywhere by foot, not near transport, really did not deliver at all. massively overpriced and oversold, this is a scam this place. for half the price it is good, 50 bucks, bakcpacker rate. for 100 it is deceptive and scam all round. deliberately avoidant host. nightmare to find put the code in at night to the key safe, tiny numbers and difficult key safe location. even if the door is easy once you find it, it is not easy to find.

brilliant house if you were on your own or with friends in it , quite new and high level of fixtures and fittings. lovely under cover parking. if you happen to be the one car that is in it. its great. massive bathroom bath and double shower.
