We stayed in the 3 bedder Meraki apartment above the parking area. BBQ, lounge wasn’t clean. Basic kitchen. Can’t have blinds down at night as they bang with the wind so you need to close windows ….but there’s no aircon in bedrooms- only fans!!! No doors on ensuite - sorry not good enough - also allows daylight-in so there’s no sleep in as it’s blindingly sunny- and then there’s the next door barking dog!!! No outdoor area. Communal pool area not suited to different couples/ groups sitting around. Otherwise quite pleasant and great location 😊 but definitely would not stay again.

Internet was patchy and slow. Someone seemed to be laying a new floor in the apartment upstairs which started about 8am and was unacceptable. So many apartments squeezed into a very small space.

The property was nicely laid out with a comfy bed and lots of hot water.

Overall for the money we paid ( perhaps inflated by peak period) I was disappointed. It is pretty much self service with close to no staff interaction. We were there 4 nights and had no option to have the room serviced so ran out of toilet paper and soap and didn’t have the garbage emptied. Beds and pillows quite uncomfortable. Bathroom didn’t feel super clean, nor did the pool. Power was out for a few hours during the day. Described as luxury accommodation but definitely not that. Perhaps it’s okay at a normal rate but at around 400 per night it was not value for money.

The location as great. An easy walk into town. The room was large and the outdoor furniture was quite good. On request they did allow us to keep our bags in their office on the last day after check out.

The security camera at the entrance is really intrusive. And the recorded message that says “HI YOU ARE CURRENTLY BEING RECORDED” every time someone walks in or you enter your apartment or a moth or something sparks the motion sensor is not only creepy but you can hear it from the bedroom and it made sleeping soundly very difficult. My daughter found that sound in the middle of the night scary and that created its own problems regarding sleeping arrangements. The toilet in the main bedroom makes a high pitched squealing sound that lasts for about 5 minutes every time you flush. Great location for town but also on a main road so even though the photos online made it look like a zen paradise, the traffic is v loud.

It is easy walking distance to the centre of Byron. The beds were comfy and the house was clean.

We could hear the people upstairs walking around and sliding their chairs. Kept us awake at night. Bathrooms outdated, need an upgrade and a really good clean.

Very cute aesthetic, didn’t get to enjoy the pool due to poor weather.

Overall, the room wasn’t clean. Previous visitors toiletries were in the room, hairs all over the bathroom and just wasn’t clean at all. The coffee table and floods didn’t seem clean either. Our tv didn’t work and we had someone come and look at it and couldn’t fix it (it rained our whole trip and it would’ve been good to be able to use it). It wasn’t very well equipped in general. For the price you pay, it’s very expensive and we unfortunately wish we stayed somewhere else.

The bed was so comfortable, it was like a huge cloud.

The shower had mould all over the wall tiles. You could smell the mould when you walked into the villa.

The interactions with the property management was less than satisfactory. We were supposed to be in the Beach House but weren’t & when I raised this, they didn’t seem to care. I enquired about staying an extra night & they quoted $600 but on booking.com was $362. When I raised this, they didn’t respond at all.

I could not find the sign post with the room name and number on it although it was easy to find by process of elimination.

Check in is a bit difficult as there is nobody on site you just have to call a number & gate to property is never locked so anyone can walk in. Also shower has no door which isn’t a problem but water goes over the entire bathroom floor and leaves it very wet

In a great location, only a 5 minute walk into the town and beach. Bed is so comfortable, room spacious and very clean. Has iron which is very handy and fridge for water and snacks. Communal kitchen on site which is great including a BBQ. Pool nice and clean.

The location was convenient to the main shopping centre, and private and safe parking space on the property. The multi-accommodation concept was private. the room was very pleasing and decorated nicely. I enjoyed it immensely

Mold in shower, no soap in dispenser, no coat hangers, no tissues. Power points not working ... had to move the furniture around so as to get power for my laptop which made access to the bathroom tricky ... they really need an electrician to repair instead of placing covers over faulty outlets. Refrigerator freezer frosted over to the point of being unable to open or use it. Invisible staff ... Communal kitchen filled with what appeared to be leftovers from previous guests.

We booked three rooms . Only two were unlocked . They tried to tell us it was because we only had three people . We sent all booking details and they promised to send somebody to u lock the 3rd room for us . They never showed up. Somebody had to sleep on the couch . They promised resolution then began to ignore our calls and we received no compensation and no service although we paid and sent proof of all three rooms being secured. We have taken it up with the booking company
