Rooms a bit tired

Location off road was perfect for a stopover whilst travelling to Sydney. Restaurant was very good.

Would say that the bathroom requires an upgrade. It doesn't seem to fit the "modern style" of the bedroom and the tall glass windows. Another thing that I wasn't sure off, as it was a weekend, is how often the entrance driveway from the main road is cleared - there was large chunks of tree debris on the road driving in.

Loved the location and accessibility from the carpark into the front - and the access to trolleys to get bags from car into the hotel room. Weather wasn't great, but there are plenty of indoor activities that can be done while weather plays up. Loved the space of the room we booked (two adults).

The air conditioner was set to a 'one' temperature for the complex. We found it to be too cold and so did not turn it on during our stay.

The Opal Cove met or exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and the size of the room suited us. The balcony was of a size where you could stretch out. The restaurant provided a good range of food options with reasonable pricing.

We get told that we wouldn’t be able to have food as resort booked out. This was disappointing as we wanted to use the restaurant.

The coffee quality in the bar could do with an improvement and the gym didn’t open until 7am. Bathrooms are a little dated.

This property is a gem of Coffs Harbour. Settled amongst an expansive property, Opal Cove provides a comfortable stay with clean and hospitable facilities. Our family loved walking to the beach after breakfast. Good value for money.

No toilet brush in bathroom and shower in bathtub (hard for older ones to get in and out of)

Water temperature was very hot and maybe a hazard for small children. Not able to adjust the temperature in the room other than to turn the aircon off. Aircon is set to the temp of the entire resort. We were a bit cold but Staff were great and brought more blankets for us. Breakfast buffet was ok except not stocked for the busy morning we experienced.

Great facilities, the property grounds were lovely. The kids loved everything that was on offer here. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a night.

Bathroom was very neglected & needed a renovation, pictures on the website were very old so didn't reflect the current state. The room was very large which was a bonus.

Had a fridge and freezer that wasn’t working and I had all medications that needed to be kept in the fridge and freezer. Has to throw out my medications so an expensive nights stay.

There were no instructions for the air con and we froze the first night. The room was quite outdated and the the hallways etc outdated and bland, really needs a bit of an upgrade

No control over the air conditioning in your room with a working thermostat. There was one on the wall but for show only.

Air con old and hard to use. Condition of room is an easy fix, gives perception it’s not clean but believe its condition that lets it down. Confused by food options for family, just done Uber eats instead.
