There was a mark from a prolonged use of anti-slip mat on bath tub which make it looks ugly.

Good size of room. It's okay and clean. Comfy bed. Had a good sleep overnight with an ocean wave sounds. YouTube on flat screen TV which entertained our children in the room. Lots of fun to do, games room, chess, swim pool, walking to access beach.

Food, Nearly all the food was cold. I had the breakfast buffet. We turned up at 8:15am and it was like the food had been there since 6:30am when it opened. I ate like 1 bite of everything on my plate then left. Maybe when it's busy the food would be better but for $30 a head I expected it too be much better.

I thought it looked tired and needing a upgrade. lot of mould on the tiles around the pool the pool itself looked worn. The outside of the building had black mould on the pillars looking out the window.

Cost did not reflect the quality of rooms Unable to provide a roll out bed (even though it was offered during the booking). Their reasoning for this was that it may exceed the number of guests in the room. There was not the offer of separating one of the double beds into 2 singles and my teenage children no longer like to sleep in the same bed as each other. We were not exceeding the guests - simply requesting that our children can have separate beds. After arriving we found out that others who booked the same room as us, with the same amount of guests - were given a fold out bed.

One of the bed was very uncomfortable (could feel springs when laying on mattress). The restaurant food was average.

We were on ground floor a long way from lifts, lights for bathroom were near front door which was odd, bathroom was dated.

Parking too far and our room was 4 corridors from the lift rooms need kitchenette’s to be able to wash up cup’s etc

Very tired and dated hotel that has seen better days. Pool area is looking shabby and unmaintained. Staff in the dining room at dinner wearing short bike gym shorts, which didn’t seem very professional or appropriate work attire. Just my opinion.

Great location, food at the onsite restaurant was good value for money.

The resort is older and some parts look a little dated. The pool area could have done with a gurney and we would have loved the poolside bar to have been open as it was a beautiful sunny day for our stay, but we understand that it was not peak season. We would love to come back in the summer :)

Opal Cove was a great stop off for us. We only stayed the one night on our way to the Gold Coast, but the room was spacious, modern and clean. Beds were very comfy. There was a balcony with a table and chairs to enjoy the gorgeous views out to sea and the sound of waves breaking. The resort style pool is wonderful - my kids loved the slide! We paid $200 for a family room which we felt was very good value.

The pools look like they need some maintenance and refurbishing

Breakfast was delicious and staff super friendly and accommodating. Perfect location - ample outdoor space and short walk to beach.
