Nice resort, close to the beach and has a great pool

The resort is showing its age and appeared to be a shadow of its former grandiose self. It felt like not much had changed since the 90's. As it's marketed as a 4 star resort, and a high class facility, we felt that it definitely needs an upgrade to meet those standards. The decor is dated, there are cracks in the masonry around the pool and the retractable clothes line in our bathroom didn't pull out so we couldn't use it. The freezer bar-fridge also didn't work. We would have liked to eat in the restaurant but too few options offered on the menu.

The resort is clean and in a great location, staff are friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy and had the best pillows out of the many motels we slept in during our trip which was so nice. The kids loved the waterslide in the pool.

building and everything is a little bit older and is on the beach but you can’t swim at this particular beach. Neither of these are deal breakers, simply worth noting!

The place is a bit dated, and balconies are a bit useless and small. No room service options are available, which I think is down to not having enough staff there.

The pool, the bar downstairs, and the location to everything was great. The grounds do look well maintained (except the pool area) The staff they had were really helpful.

Despite staying for four nights, not once was the room attended to by the room cleaning staff. Bed not made, we had to get our own toilet paper, soaps, towels. This is even when we saw the cleaning staff in the corridoors with all the amenities, doing other rooms.

The facility is old but extremely well maintained. The pool was sparkling clean. The room was a good large size. Staff upgraded us and this made us feel very special

Although our room was cleaned daily, and towels changed, they seemed to forget to wash the sinks, cups and glasses.

The bathroom was a bit dated and could use a makeover. We expected a king bed in such a large facility but only had a queen.

The room was quiet and spacious with plenty of room to move around. The restaurant was nice and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Family member with mobility issues struggled with the many stairs and uneven paths, and there were no viable alternative routes for her. Travelling between the resort and town - lots of roadworks.

The unit was large and airy, ideal for our large family group. Impressed with the facilities (games room, gym and sauna, pool etc), friendliness of staff, and good range of options in the restuarant.

Really impressed with this resort, will definitely head back to Coffs Harbour to stay here.
