Convenient location, clean and comfortable

Very little. Except. The bed was way too soft. The freezer in the fridge was so frosted up that you couldn’t put an ice tray in it. Minor inconvenience. Reception told.

Great location for Comedy Festival season. Theatres opposite, right and left. It was like the Paris end of that street had insomnia ; constant human traffic. Hotel room at back of building - no view except for neighbouring building walls, scaffoldings, a couple of pigeons. Not sure if other levels of floor had wheelchair access or not for the hallway outside rooms have split level. Our room had split level separating lounge and bathroom/toilet. Facilities were great for room except for wall plugs not working. Don't expect USB plug ins for charging phones or other devices.

The room was tidy and large. The two single beds pushed together were uneven in height making it pointless at one bed. One bed was very uncomfortable. There was a terrible sewage like smell throughout the hallway but thankfully not in the room. The bedroom faced an alleyway that has noisy activity until late and lights on all night.

Some rooms are feeling a little tired/dated and while general cleanliness is good, a thorough deep clean would lift the standard of the rooms.

Location is excellent, parking is close by and good value. Staff are always fantastic, we stay here a few times a year.

Perfect location in Melbourne CBD with self contained facilities so we could easily prepare our own simple meals.

The shower didn't drain properly- so I could only shower briefly or risk flooding the bathroom into the carpet. This was a disappointment.

Doesn’t really look like the pictures but still good value for money in a very good location. Make sure to choose the right room if you want one with a window. We didn’t really have one, but since we barely spent any time in the room it was ok.

No air con in the bedroom and only in the living area, meant I had to have the air con on high all night to to cool the bedroom.

We couldn’t log into Netflix on the tv but it wasn’t a big deal

The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the staff member that checked us in was beyond delightful, she was so kind.

One or two things were a little 'tired' but not so much as to impact our stay.

Excellent location in the heart of Melbourne, close to NGV, Fed Square, Arts Centre, shops, restaurants. Spacious room and very quiet despite its central location. Clean and comfortable. Excellent value.

The signage out the front is terrible and needs to have something done. I walked past the property twice without even realising it was right near me. Signage is on the wall out the front, who looks on a wall for signage, you look overhead or for at least a descent sign at the front instead of a small plaque/tile that unless you're right on top of it you can't read or see it. I had to call the hotel for help as I'd spent almost an hour trying to find the hotel

I was upgraded to a 2-bedroom apartment by receptionist as I've got mobility issues and forgot to request no stairs. She went beyond my expectations in so far as giving me the upgrade, so I didn't have to climb stairs. Location for me was perfect for my stay, close to public transport and if I was going, the theatres are right next door. Will stay again in the future.

The apartment I was in different from previous stay,had an elevated bathroom the step up to bathroom was a bit high so for anyone who has mobility problems or for the elderly it is not suitable. Not all rooms have the elevated Bathrooms. Also through no fault of the hotel outside my window at around 1.30am there were workers doing night shift and unfortunatly they were talking very loud none stop for a couple of hours so my sleep was interrupted Couldnt get back to sleep until they left.

This was my second time in this hotel. It had everything i needed mini apartment or studio apartment.It was Clean the staff were helpful and friendly good area close to shops, not far from train station.Theatre district.

Some of the fixture and fittings were a bit dated

Location was outstanding as it was so central to everything. We were able to go back during the day to drop shopping off, to rest and relax between activities.
