On the weekends it could be a bit loud due to the bars in the neighborhood, but it was okay and you know that when you book this area 😌

as it is in northbridge, it was quite noisy if you had the window open from the streets, bars&clubs. but nothing earplugs can‘t mend, or if you close the window.

the staff was very helpful and the interior is modern. the room is not big but you have everything you need, especially a very comfy bed&nice shower. the rooftop and the lounge&reception area are nicely done and invite to hang arround! the location is just next to the train station, very easy access to eg. the airport. many bars&restaurants arround, as it is in the trendy neighborhood northbridge.

room was a little stuffy and didn't smell fresh at all - the shower soaps weren't the WA brand anymore and have been changed to one made in china, and the amazing muesli dropped a notch in quality, small details but make a big difference.

Really enjoyed staying here. Staff were extremely friendly, approachable & helpful throughout. The hotel had a quirky layout with comfortable rooms and chilled tap water available at all times. The lounge areas on the roof & lobby are lovely with lots of character. We also appreciated the refreshment vouchers for days where we declined housekeeping - good environmental initiative.

The hotel is new and centrally located just a few minutes walking from the main station. At nighttime there is is a party district but at normal times it is absolutely safe. The room was clean and well equipped. The staff was very friendly. It was nice to start the day with a breakfast on the terrace.

My first room had a humming sound coming from the ceiling. Upon informing staff they upgraded my room, which was excellent. Quick reaction and good change!

The Hotel Alex is very stylish, well located in the heart of Northbridge, Perth - close to the nightlife of the city. The room was big and clean, the staff very helpful. The lobby was wonderful modern with a bar, which I enjoyed.

Good location close to Perth station - ideal for travellers without car. The room was relatively small and we missed a space to store our clothes. The room was new, clean and I slept very well in the bed. The bathroom is in a very good condition. Breakfast is not ideal for carnivores but ok for others.

1. Great location – very close to the train station. 2. The staff were friendly and helpful. 3. Clean and comfortable. 4. Free water, coffee, and tea were provided. 5. The bed and pillows were super comfy. 6. The shared areas were really beautiful. 7. Lots of great restaurants nearby. All of this made my stay in Perth a wonderful experience! Maybe it’s just a cultural difference, but I was surprised that the bar next to the hotel started playing loud music around 10 PM and continued until 1 AM. 😳 In my country, that would actually be illegal. However, it didn’t really affect my sleep, and the hotel thoughtfully provided earplugs, which I really appreciated.

Restaurant/kitchen floor with complementary pastries/tea/coffee was lovely. Location was excellent. Room didn't have a fridge or tea/coffee facilities, but the kitchen area was available with fridge space. Room was very small but location convenience made up for it.

We really enjoyed our one night at this hotel. Very easy to get to from the train station and close to restaurants. The room was a nice size and the bed was comfy. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. Very good quality food. Overall a great night after a long flight.

An unexpected visit to Perth took us to the Alex Hotel. It’s quirky and fun. Yes, there’s a bit of external noise but it’s so well located that was not an issue. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Northbridge and yet felt really private once inside. Lovely clean room and amenities. Was surprised not to have a fridge in the room which is somewhat inconvenient, we like to keep drinks and snacks in the room. Also no wardrobe or draws, just a couple of hangers on the wall which I guess makes sense for saving space. On check in wasn’t explained that their was a fridge on level one with bottled water for the rooms, or that there were iron and ironing boards available in storage. Check in could have been warmer with instructions on these things. Also, had booked additional night and was called half way through stay wondering why we hadn’t checked out, so what should have been arranged on check in wasn’t. Positive note though on the staff, they were happy to store our equipment we hadn’t checked for an event, under the stair case when it wasn’t being used until we left. Continental breakfast was minimal but lovely all the same and included barista coffee and lovely service by attendant. Lots of lovely common areas and lobby bar downstairs. More pros than cons and we would stay again.

I hate the lift telling me the obvious! Neighbours were noisy last night.... maybe the window wasn't shut properly!

Love the sustainable design of the hotel. Staff very personable. Terrific location.
