The internet was spotty at best and we could not work out if there was AC on the kitchen level or how to turn it on if present.

The location was perfect, right on the beach. Did not need to drive anywhere all week, shops across the road, private pool and hotel pool for the kids, playground right there and in a quiet area! Couldn't ask for more!

When we stayed, it wasn’t too hot, but on extremely hot summer days, it might be difficult to endure the heat. Because the air conditioning in the middle floor with the kitchen and living room wasn’t working. The bathroom lights in the master bedroom and kitchen didn’t turn on, and the provided portable vacuum cleaner wasn’t functioning, making cleaning a bit challenging. However, these were minor issues for our stay

It was perfect for our family of six. The children spent the entire day playing at the walking distance beach and in the spacious pool with warm water that located resort. The pool inside the house was smaller and deeper than expected, but it was sufficient for cooling off in the heat. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The living room was also spacious, making it great for the whole family to spend time together. I also inquired about the possibility of early check-in on the day of arrival, and it was great that we could check in early.

The property is wearing. There is a door jammed (main bedroom) and some doors can't be locked due to salt air erosion on the locks, and the pool while clean, has marks which makes it appear dirty. Small things - no blind on one of the windows near kitchen so very bright! A chair was broken in the dining, and the downstairs shower floods the floor which just needs wiping up regularly with kids. Little minor things but I guess you don't want any issues when you go on holidays. I feel obliged to mention that the beautiful ocean views are only seen from the roof top and you need to carry your own chairs up there as well. Overall, these things did not majorly impact our very relaxing stay.

Hosts were quick to respond to replace a missing part in the coffee machine and got the part to us before the end of our stay. We really appreciated that. The food and drinks and pantry supplies were fantastic. Plenty of toiletries for use as well. Very spacey property with lots of levels so big families can really spread out. Access to the beach was absolutely direct and there is park area there as well. Great walking track. Loved how we could use the Ramada facilities too.

The Pandanus Beach House was perfect for 4 adults and 2 children. I love the essentials through out the whole house. The beach at your door step perfect. Security was at it best with secure parking and fully lockable house. Kyla the host was out standing.

My only small criticism was that there was no climate control in the living/kitchen area (although it was available in the bedrooms). We stayed in the middle of winter and sometimes the nights were very cold for Queensland (below 10 degrees). It would have been nice to have some heat while we watched TV in the evening.

The house was very luxurious, and looked just as good as the pictures - beautifully decorated, well-appointed kitchen, comfortable furniture and bedding, with many thoughtful touches like a welcome basket, some beer in the fridge, and hand wash and lotion in all the bathrooms. The closeness to the beach was fantastic, and the ability to dine at the on-site restaurant was a bonus. Our host answered all questions quickly.

The only niggle is that there are no loungers/chairs on the roof terrace, where the best views are, to enjoy the afternoon sun.

Beautifully presented large apartment in a great location. Perfect setting for two couples enjoying a joint holiday. The beach is a joy for taking walks on. And the host provides the best "goodies " I have ever had in booking accommodation!

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Very beautiful home, to high standards luxury. The owner Kyla had taken everything into account for your our special stay from lovely soaps and every bathroom had been all filled with gorgeous hand wash and moisturiser and shampoos and conditioner. She was so thoughtful and left a welcome basket of Easter eggs for the family and even thought for Myself and my husband with a little something extra. We are very grateful to have her share her beautiful home with us.

The property needs a lot of maintenance!! Really lets the place down, no air con on the main level, and master bedroom only a small air con. Several out of order features. Not really toddler friendly lots of stairs, deep pool with only one step to get out with. Needs A proper spring clean. Electric bbq wasn’t great either..

Exceptional location !! Nice big house 3 main levels. Great to have options to use resort facilities, pools,restaurant, bar. Bike hire was great even a day spa was amazing !! Having our own lock up garage under the house was perfect.

The middle floor which was the living area where the family congregated air conditioning was not working and it was unbearably hot and extremely humid.

The single most disappointing thing was the misleading advertisement. There is no amazing view unless you get up on the roof and stand on your tip toes, whilst everyone at the resort behind you watches you from above. It overlooks mangroves. I wouldnt have booked it if i new the view was as it is. Things are tired, old and worn out, not working or difficult to decipher. ie its someones home and thats nice, but they need to provide instructions for things. -Hotplate, the biggest one wouldnt work, after we figured out how to get it to work by guessing. -No aircon/heat in middle level (Living level) -Missing blinds in areas meaning you cant block out the light of peoples view in. -Spa, no idea if it worked or not as didnt find the main switch till we were leaving, hidden on a wall in the bedroom? -Property needs maintenance, things are corroded and worn out, it was so dusty inside that we both had stuffy noses. -Bit of a process to get in and out on arrival and departure. Plus we had difficulty with the well worn out and tired garage remote. (but owner did offer to replace the battery while we were there but we left it) -Intercom? who knows appeared broken.

Its a nice older house, but theres a lot of frustrating parts. -Ocean sounds of a night. -Welcome drinks and snacks on arrival. -Owner seemed friendly and allowed an earlier check in and out. Which was nice. -Good pillows.
