Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Smell in the room was bit mouldy, Shampoo and everything was not very environmental-friendly in little plastic tubes. Breakfast was very “easy”, no fresh fruits, veggies, no cheese or yoghurts. Could be much better!

The cleanliness. I travel frequently for work and I go to Darwin A LOT. And this was by far the filthiest place I’ve stayed anywhere, ever. I spoke to the Front Office Manager about this multiple times via email and even asked for part of my money back due to cleanliness, the noise; the rooms, etc. it was the worst!
Upon entry, the place looks ok. It looks quite run down the further you start to look though and it’s a slippery down hill slope after that.

Dissapointed that the first room we went it smelt like paint and chemicals, we asked to move room and the smell was better, but the cleanliness of the room was shocking. Bathroom was so dirty, black mould in the shower!!! Would definitely not recommend.
The staff were accommodating when we asked to move rooms due to a strong odor. Also a close drive to the city which was nice.

only one problem a couple of days before we left. Aircon was not working one day and was fixed asap but then it was too cold and temperature was adjusted 22 deg but still too cold. Did not bother to let your reception know because we were leaving the next day.

Poor location. Pool photos not true to reality. Not enough chairs and sunloungers. Breakfast very poor. Items of food finished and not replaced. Could barely see the room from window. Location- Walk to restaurants - we were warned it was dangerous . In the middle of nowhere. Slippery bathroom tiles when wet.

Breakfast was horrible. American / Soviet kind of .. The room smelled like mold so strong we could only sleep with open terrace doors :(

Nothing to not like. Very good value for money.
We loved the big kS comfy bed and balcony with city and water views. The inclusive brekky was great, and the plunge pool handy. Close to walk to Mitchell Street.

We found nothing we did not like.
We loved the daily buffet breakfast and made use of the plunge pool. It was an easy walk to the central area, restaurants, pubs. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The bed was extra comfy.

The breakfast! It was advertised as continental but it was not, in my opinion. There was cereal and bread to make toast but no pastries, cheese or continential meat (ham, salami etc) - which I consider the basis of a truly continental breakfast. No sink in the 'kitchen area' in the room to wash up so I had to use the basin in the bathroom The small size of the pool
All of the staff were lovely and really helpful from housekeepers to reception staff. The room and bathroom were lovely and clean. I really liked the size of the table/desk to write at or work on my computer. I also liked the 'kitchen' area in the room. The bed was really comfortable The fact there was a gym and a pool was excellent and I managed to have a swim, though the pool is too small for laps. It was nice and quiet

Location was great as we could walk to the waterfront and around Dawin city. Romm was great spacious. and cleaned every day replenishing amenities . Staff were very polite friendly and helpful. Secure underground carpark available. A lovely continetal breakfast included in price

The smell of weed mould and dust
The lobby smelt identical to dog wash, the hallways reeked of weed, the aircon had black mold in it and the room sent me into an asthma attack so I spent my 21st bday night in the hospital. I stayed for a total of 10 minutes before having to leave. They said management would contact us but they didn’t and refused refund too so I will be taking it further.
