Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

DenmarkIt's good to have breakfast but it is very limited (cereals, toasts, spreads, tea, coffee, juice) and exactly the same every day, so it gets repetitive/dull very soon. Sound insulation is poor. There were only a couple other rooms on our floor, so while they were not occupied (or occupied by some quiet people), it was not a big deal, but once your neighbour decides to have a phone chat, you can follow the conversation. There are no restaurants in the immediate area (and pretty much no services at all), so a bar/cafe in the hotel would be very good to have, but the only thing they have is a vending machine with cold drinks.
The room was simple, yet pleasant and modern, well-equipped with all you need for a few days and - importantly - very clean. The hotel is not exactly central but still within an easy stroll to most cites, whilst being in a quiet location. Nearest supermarket within 10 minutes, most of the CBD about 20 min (further away for the Waterfront), Botanical Gardens about 20 min on foot, Sunset Market about 30 mins. A ride from the airport about 15 minutes. There is even (unusually for OZ) breakfast included, starting at 5:30 which is a bonus for starting those long days travelling out to the wild (which is what most people come for to Darwin). Daily service was efficient and discreet.

AustraliaThe rooms were spacious, my view overlooked some of the bay so the sunrises were amazing. Far enough away from Mitchell st to be quiet, not so far that you couldn’t walk to where you needed to be. The old fashioned (cereal and toast) free brekkie was great too! Best were the staff who could not have been more kind nor professional! I stayed there for 12 nights and the staff were amazing.

AustraliaThe included breakfast was quite meagre, would've expected more for something that likely increased our stay by $10-15 per person

AustraliaThe cost really. I thought it was a little expensive for what I would consider to be a 4 star stay. I know the cost included basic breakfast but still think it was a little high.
Considering the 2 bedroom room wasn’t huge it had everything we needed. The bathroom was a good size and well appointed. Beds were comfortable.

AustraliaThe room was unfortunately not very sound proof. We could hear people outside our room and people above us walking in their room. Although the bed was very clean, I did find that the hotel could do with some new fresh towels as there were some stains and marks on them.
Great location, 24 hour service was very helpful, parking was easy. Bed was comfortable & clean. Would happily stay again.

United KingdomWhen we arrived early (1330 before an arranged 1400 check in) and asked if we could leave our luggage. The receptionist was so welcoming and offered the use of the pool but another staff member (ground staff?) made a number of loud rude comments about check in not being until 4pm and that we didn’t care because we were on holiday.
The location, the staff were really helpful and accommodating and the room.

United StatesNothing. It was a good place to stay.
Our room was modern and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The sheets were high quality and felt good. Very spacious bathroom and clean bathroom. The hotel had secure parking and it was on a good side street. It was within walking distance of the waterfront district with its restaurants and it was close to a good grocery store. Our room was quiet. Came with a continental breakfast.

AustraliaBathing was shower over bath, and a little hard to get in and out safely for someone my height (160cm), but a grab rail helped. Provided breakfast was OK but not great, just supermarket bread, cereal and tinned fruit. Layout of food made it hard for many people to get to it, very awkward.
Nice hotel, room was very clean, reasonable size. Balcony too small to be used, but nice to be able to open the window. Bed was comfortable. Hotel pool was clean and well maintained, nice to use.

AustraliaOn both nights of our stay, there were a number of guests out in the hallway around 3.30 am - 4.30 am. They were talking very loudly and slamming doors and this disturbed our sleep.
The staff accommodated our luggage early so that we could tour around until check-in. The continental breakfast provided a variety of options.

AustraliaToilet was loud and took a while to flush. Pool was very small.
It was nice having 2 separate bedrooms. Beds were comfy and there were 2 separate TVs one for each bedroom which was good and single beds for kids so they could be separate which was good too for older children. Continental Breakfast was included. They provided gluten free bread and had a separate toaster for gluten free bread.
