Broken iron, no private bathroom (glass doors) hair on floor on carpet. Fridge wouldn’t stop beeping had to send someone up. Most annoying thing is they kept my security deposit for way too long (it’s 2025, instant money, except when staying at a hotel) very expensive parking at $30. They also got the booking name wrong and said my daughter booked it and wanted her ID! Very little information on where to get food in the area.

Excellent pool and fitness centre. Spring Hill loop free bus makes it very easy to get into the City. Local restaurants and cafe's very good. Easy access to city cycle network and riverside routes.

The man checking me in gave me a hard time about the booking being made with our business name rather than my personal one. Had to change that online before we would book me in. Parking was confusing and should have been made more clear but it did work out in the end.

Cool artist place to stay. Bed super comfortable and location was great to walk to the hospital which was the purpose of our stay.

We were able to park on site within the building for a fee. We do not mind paying for the spot but it was not guaranteed so when you go out for the evening the car park could be full when you return. Street parking is not that great around there.

We know it was the site of the old Transport Department and were really impressed with the transformation of the building into an art hotel. The decor and the artworks are very complimentary with the keeping some of the feel of the old building with the exposed concrete. We really liked it. Also that it is so close to the city where we were going that evening.

Gym water machine was out of service so no water in the gym. Also only 3 lounges with shade in the pool area. Being pregnant it would have been much more comfortable to be able to lay in the shade. Guests left their towels in one of the only 3 shaded lounge suites to reserve them while they went out for much of the day. This meant others who may have wanted to use them for a short period couldn’t. The hotel should make a policy that prohibits this, or provide more lounge options in shade. Tv was old, not a smart tv so couldn’t access my streaming services. Also could not change channels like a normal tv. Had to navigate by going into the tv guide and select each channel. Was very clunky. Finally was given a disability bathroom which was not requested for my trip. This meant the bathroom was one large wet room with only a small curtain separating the shower area from the toilet and sink. Curtain did not fully cover the shower area. Toilet seat did not have a lid.

Loved the fact that reception staff were super helpful and accommodating. Cecilia helped me to extend my stay when I needed due to and extended admission for my husband post surgery at the nearby hospital. Very attractive modern appointed studio. Loved the kitchenette with large fridge, freezer cooktop, microwave and drawer dishwasher. Had everything I needed. Pool was lovely.

Our room was spacious, clean and equipped with the right things. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The pool area is gorgeous, clean, and peaceful. The beds are comfy. I love this hotel and will continue to stay as the standard is kept high.
