I feel the penthouse suite should have all the bells and whistles, no spa or bath was a bit if a let down. But thats my fault for not reading the description properly.

The bed was very uncomfortable and the sheets caused static electricity every time my husband and I touch each other. This was our first night away from our 3 kids in 2 years and we were looking forward to getting a couple of good nights sleep and sleeping in in the morning but the beds were very hard and uncomfortable, causing both of us to have terrible nights sleep, waking up very sore and deciding just to get up early and go out both mornings rather than laying in like we had hoped for.

The view was spectacular, the bathroom was very well planned out and also has a great view from the bath, the no fuss check in and check out were great too.

Shower recess was mould stained and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned with a heavy duty detergent for some time. Tile floor heating took some time to warm and there were no instructions on how to operate. Fireplace fan was noisy and more decorative than functional and instructions in guest book still reference Stan as a streaming service available. Suggest some additional glassware as well.

Loved the views, light filled suite and spacious bedroom. Dressing gowns were the perfect accessory and all linen was of high quality.

Stairs Location of the property had to travel 26km to get food.Too isolated your Ad said you were 150m from shops. Your lady never knew whether your property was north or south of Mornington. No one to ask how to get your stove to work so we give NZ Snapper at $72/kg to the cat.

When we got back from the wedding we attended in Red Hill late at night, we were disappointed to see that four cars were parked across the five parking bays and we therefore had nowhere to park. We found a small patch of dirt a few hundred metres away. It was not ideal walking along dirt tracks late at night in our suits.

The room was beautifully appointed and had spectacular views.

A sink where the tea and coffee , microwave facilities are would be nice. Dishwasher in the bathroom is unusual! Walls are slightly thin (there was a family with at least one child next door). Would still rebook, just maybe a different configuration:)

Views definitely lived up to expectations however the bed faces the wrong way to take advantage of this! Clean and well presented Love the fluffy robes.

I expected a bath in something called a penthouse. The fan on the heater fire was screeching so could hardly use the heater. One chair of the 2 provided at the table is very unsafe. The couch needed some cushions for back support. Dust and dirt around various floor and shower edges.

it was tired and a bit shabby. We stayed in the Bowen Suite and the stairs down to it only had patchy non-slip panels and on the first set of stairs the lights didn’t come on until you were at the bottom of those 7-8 stairs which is quite dangerous. Apart from the bed which was very comfortable the furnishings looked like the sort that would come out of grandma’s house and be put into a beach house. The furnishings were tatty and tired especially the bedside tables one of which was missing a draw handle. Also there was a cheap air freshener in the kitchen that filled the accommodation with an overwhelming smell when we arrived. This improved once we removed it out onto the balcony. Finally, with the safety warning about homeless people which we received after arriving, it would be helpful to have had a safe provided.
