Reception staff were inexperienced and so any questions/queries took a lot longer to answer. But they were helpful and pleasant. Snacks at the bar were non existent. guests empty beer bottles and towels had not been cleared at the pool from the previous afternoon. The swimming pool is sad and neglected. The room had dirty spots on the carpet and walls. The bathroom had a stained tub. The shower was hard to adjust the temperature. Dangerous as you could scold yourself. Towels are thin. The box seat was dusty.

The bed was very comfortable. Lovely indoor plants trailing from one level to the next. Great coffee.

My partner and I stayed with the Novotel for her birthday - we received a free room upgrade, along with a lovely gesture of a dessert platter and lovely hand written note wish her a happy birthday :). The staff were excellent and very friendly

the aircon leaked, maintenance came and temporarily fixed aircon- he told staff to remake bed, they didn’t come. there also wasn’t enough chairs at the table

We had a 2 bedroom apartment, so lots of space. the foyer is beautiful, staff were lovely.

Given room initially with dodgy/leaking aircon which I had to complain about and then change rooms after unpacking my belongings. Only room available switch to was a downgrade from Harbourview to City view which was disappointing for a 7 night stay. Dined in restaurant one night with family group including 2 young children and waited over an hour for meals as there was only 1 chef working.

Comfortable apartment, issue with room appointed on arrival dealt with in professional and timely manner ( water leaking onto desk from aircon). House keeping to a high standard. Pool ok.

We booked a harbour view room 7 months in advance.. we got bumped to the carpark view room as there was no availability. To compensate, we were offered the buffet breakfast for the duration of our stay. The buffet breakfast was boring and repetitive. The shower area was also quite small.

Location was perfect, close to the main shops but far away enough to not hear the noise from the bars. The front reception was friendly. The pool area was nice, suggest to put and outside shower so guest can rinse before and after swimming

Hotel is old and run down. Facilities such as the pool were poorly maintained. Although advertised as a self contained apartment their were no utensils or pots and pans to cook with.
