Upon check in, it was required I deposit $50 AUD for 2 room cards. I was told i would receive this deposit back when checking out and leaving the room cards. I never received the $50 back, tried to contact them and they never replied.

Hostel was very rundown and facilities were old. Still functioning and good to use however. This hostel is good for a party, however we weren’t there for a party so was a bit noisy for us.

Staff were super helpful and friendly. The hostel had all the basic facilities we needed. Nice for a short term stay.

Kitchen is quite small and hard to cook in if others in there. We ended up eating out for ease. We were in a private double room. Needed a bit of tlc with marks on wall etc. Had a few bugs in our room but partly expected given climate. Shared bathroom wasn’t great.

The outside communal area is nice. Activities most evenings if you wanted to get involved. Didn’t keep us up though if we didn’t want to be involved and have an early night. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Nice pool area.

There are a lot of options on what to do in the hostel. You have a pool a sun deck a nice common area to meet other backpackers and travelers and there also is a kitchen.

It was a bit rundown, a lick of paint wouldn’t go a miss, the fridge didn’t work.

Good location, near to the bus terminal including Greyhound Bus Stop. The staff were friends and helpful when our fridge in our room broke

We was happy to grab a private room as being in our 30's now sharing dorms is not our thing. But this room was extremely hot and having a little fan and no air con made it hard to sleep. Also the bed was very uncomfortable and we noticed it was missing slats under the bed. Super creaky too! Just move to turn over in bed and loud creaking. Shared bathroom with two other rooms Shower was nice temperature but the bathroom itself needs TLC. Cold water tap barely ran at sink. Needs new flooring too. I feel for what we had we over paid. We have stayed in many hostels for same price if not cheaper and been in better condition I'm afraid to say.

On arrival the lady who checked us in was pleasant. Explained everything to us Clearly. We enjoyed being able to play pool in the evening in the onsight bar with music playing made it a nice vibe. Very relaxed hostel and no noise which was lovely.

Our room and bathroom was stinky. It was hot, but a big fan on the ceiling helped a bit and window but couldn’t leave curtains open and lie in bed as people could see in from courtyard.

Unfortunately we had cockroaches in the room, the kitchen could be more clean and we rather did not store any food there.

Very good location, plenty of facilities, nice staff. People should obviously expect more noise- it’s hostel for youngsters. That is what we accounted for.

The stairs leading to our room were super narrow (a large suitcase barely fits) In the way to our room lights weren't working at all (we let the staff know but it wasn't fixed during our stay). The ceiling fan in our room was working only at minimum speed. There was a vertical fan plugged to a socket by the bed, so only one extra socket was available (at least one more would've been good) General cleaning wasn't really good (room and bathroom specially) Small common kitchen and narrow design which made really hard to use for the amount of people using it at the same time, it was also very untidy and not clean

Common areas were spacious. Good price. It has a Cafe and a bar within the hostel.

The kitchen its too small for all the quantity guests that want to use it. Most of the time its dirty, flies everywhere, sometimes birds. The refrigerators are completely full and you have no room for your groceries

Was summer but the AC was so high and the didn’t give you blanket to sleep, and if you want to cook you need to rent pan for cook and I think is not fear everyone is paying to have a good service and need to include the kitchen staff
