There wasn't anything we didn't like except for the first room we were offered which was dark, small and slightly claustrophobic but Amanda took us to an alternate room which was comfortable and cheerful.

The Motel is centrally located near the Art Gallery, a fabulous antique store and some excellent nearby restaurants. The rooms are basic, comfortable and clean; the staff were totally exceptional especially Amanda, who couldn't be more helpful. The breakfasts were very well priced and well prepared - I would go so far as to say they were some of the best breakfasts I have eaten.

Bedcover had stains on it. That really put me off. Bed was ok, a little hard for my liking. Room was small but generally ok. No pay TV but we were out most of the time anyways. Lighting was quite poor. To be fair, we are used to top 5 star hotels in major cities, so please consider my review in light of that. For a regional town hotel, I guess this was probably mid range standard.

Easy check in and out. Lady on front desk was lovely, friendly and very helpful. Heating was good, it was really cold when we stayed. Shower was great. Bathroom was very clean.

Carpet frayed near door, shower head leaked water all over bathroom when turned on. Had to put towel around shower to prevent water going everywhere.

I found the motel very impersonal with electronic entering so not need to speak to anyone unless it’s about money. We were busy all day and we we returned back to the motel on a cold night no milk in the fridge and no one available to ask. Next morning the shower head would not stay up so I had to try and fix that and then hot and cold water the whole shower and one again no one to talk to.we couldn’t have breakfast there because we we supposed to have a link to order breakfast by 6pm but we never received it. All in all a very ordinary stay

The hotel is located opposite the museum in a very pretty part of town. Easy to find and park - no lift to second level that we could find. It was very comfortable and well laid out, quiet room for the night.

We never got the text or email about breakfast. An extra pillow would have been nice.

Location was perfect, walking distance to most things. The coded door locks were useful. Shower was great! Beds were comfy enough. The electric blanket came in handy on a cold night.

Said it was disability friendly. Requested, and confirmed by hotel after booking that there'd be a shower stool in room on check-in. No, I had to find a staff member to get one. Still not disability friendly, no bars neat toilet or on shower, no non slip flooring in shower for safe transferring. No seat outside of shower to dry off and get sorted, I had to take a seat in from the room. If you want to be truly disability friendly, ask someone with a disability what's needed. Don't ever think as able bodied people that you know.

For the price I was surprised at how dated the property was. Fitout was probably fine during the 80’s, but there has obviously been little change since then other than contactless check in. Provide cutlery and crockery but no microwave.
