Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaNo soundproof walls! We are a family with young kids, and one of our toddlers was distressed and crying due to not being used to the new environment. Wasn't pleasant having one of our neighbour's constantly come to knock on our door every few minutes.
Really good value for money, and that it was central to everything.

AustraliaThe room was very basic and small, however clean. I would not like to stay for more than a day or so. The TV was too small when watching when sitting in bed. Lack of a microwave was not great.
Very close to main center, restaurants and tourism sights. Parking was good and safe due to having a ground room. The room was very clean, however very small and basic.

AustraliaAlthough car parking was provided our allocated spot had been taken by someone else and they stayed there the entire time we were there. We were then allocated another spot and that was taken by someone else again. I know it’s not the fault of Barclay On View that people do this but it was still frustrating that they seemed to be unable to get the people to move to their allocated park. In the end we parked up the back in a spot not near the rooms. Part of the issue seemed the that reception has limited hours and even though there was a number to call when reception was closed you could only leave a message. If it was open 9-5 the parking situation could be more easily dealt with.
The best thing about the property was the location. It was an easy walk to all the venues we visited for the Bendigo Blues and Roots festival that weekend. Despite being very central it was quiet and peaceful and we slept well on a very comfortable bed. The shower was hot and had excellent pressure. We would definitely stay there again if we travelled to Bendigo.

Australia1. No microwave in the rooms - you have to rent them for $15! Not ideal for parents with babies 2. No power outlets near the beds - BYO your extension cord if you rely on your mobile phone 3. Onsite reception only open limited hours (10-2pm & 4-6pm) but staff are helpful 4. Allocated car spots are very tight and not ideal for people with babies, the elderly or those with disabilities. 5. Living in a room on the ground level can be noisy as you can hear people upstairs move/drop things and their muted conversations. Not sure if living upstairs is any quieter though as noise from the carpark can travel.. 6. Overall, our room needed a spring clean - broken fly screen wire in bathroom, dust on window ledge, windows dusty, stain on bedside cabinet and small stains on the single bed linen and lace curtain. But hey, Victoria is still recovering from 2 years lockdown so I'm thinking the Managers are just catching up on maintenance etc....
1. Excellently located right in the city, next door to restaurants and a 24 hour chemist. 2. Firm, supportive mattress and room was updated/had modern decor 3. Great value for money 4. Onsite mini gym and opposite a football field - great for those that want to stay fit 5. BBQ facilities and outside tables and chairs if families need extra space. 6. Easy non-contact check-in process (no keys or keycards required, all electronic)
